Really nice
We played this course for a 2nd time after enjoying it a ton the first time we played.
Staff was extremely friendly and fun to talk to. The course was in great shape, especially the greens which were fast and a little testy. We liked the layout a lot, with lots of water and different holes to challenge us. We would go back again next time we are in the area.
Rarer than an Ace
Two of us started at roughly 115, literally did not see anyone in front or behind for 18 holes. Captures is in great shape. Greens top notch except I couldn't sink one to save my life. Finished round in 3 hours and 15 minutes
Great find for us an hour away
Staff were excellent, course condition was good. Layout of course not made for walkers. Beautiful sunny, breezy day which kept bugs away. Pretty layout of the holes and raised tees were great!
Better than expected
I had heard from people familiar with local golf courses that Heritage Oaks was an OK course. We paid a great price in Golf now and we're pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course and the layout as well.
Good greens, nice challenge
Course was in pretty good condition and greens were very good especially considering there's been a lot of play. Liked the layout and varying doglegs made it more interesting and challenging to play for position off the tee. Will play again.
Golf at Heritage Oaks Fun!
Enjoyed the round! Played 18 with a friend who was new to the course. It is very female friendly! Since I had last played it, even more friendly! I enjoyed it and so did my friend. We plan on going back!
Good value
Greens were very nice. Good value especially since we had some beginning golfers in our group.
Good not great
Greens were smooth and tricky to read slopes but fair. Surrounds could benefit from overseeding as well as fairways. Tee boxes were average. Hazards were nicely marked and carts have GPS which was useful for this well bunkered course. Staff was great. A couple of guys tried to play as five and they broke them up.
We had a good game. Many Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating.
Fair Challenge
Interesting course that requires strategy to score. Greens are very nice. Pick your tee carefully.
March 13 play
The course was in great shape. Greens were true. Perfect weather. Always enjoy playing Heritage Oaks. Bubba, as always, was very friendly. Gave me a sleeve of Wilson balls to review. Great balls.
