From the moment we arrived, the course was in outstanding condition — beautifully maintained fairways, smooth greens, and scenic views that make every hole memorable.

What really stood out was the challenge of the layout. The course demands strategy, patience, and precision, making it enjoyable for golfers who appreciate a course that keeps you thinking from tee to green. Every hole felt unique and rewarding.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any more memorable, we encountered an unexpected “visitor” out on the course that honestly felt like a ghost sighting! It definitely added an unforgettable twist to an already incredible round and gave us something to talk about long after the final putt dropped.

The Sanctuary Golf Club is more than just a round of golf — it’s an experience. Beautiful, challenging, and just mysterious enough to keep things interesting. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Waverly area.

Sanctuary Golf Club is a fantastic course and always in great condition. The layout is challenging but fair, the staff and people around the club are very friendly, and the practice facilities are excellent.

My only feedback is that the green speeds have seemed inconsistent lately and overall playing slower than expected. I asked the pro shop about it and they weren’t really sure why. Other than that, it’s a great experience and one of my favorite places to play and prepare for tournament golf.

First time I’m writing a review because this course checked all the boxes. Best greens I’ve ever played on, never felt so confident putting. Course was in great shape from tee boxes to fairways and everything between. Staff was also great, we were greeted by everyone we saw, pro shop guys were super cool, starter made sure to give us some inside scoop on the course layout. Would highly recommend a round at Sanctuary we were thoroughly impressed, will be back soon. Also nicest golf carts, cushy seats!!

Great public track. Extremely good condition from the tees to the greens. A pleasure to play on all levels. I had heard these good things from others and can confirm they were correct.

Best shape I’ve ever seen this course in. It’s always been great but this time it has clearly elevated itself into one of the top courses within drivable distance of Jax. Well worth the drive up north. Got a gokfnow deal time so that made it even more value for the shape it was on. Greens were in perfect shape. Fairways and tees were plush. And the best part … no charge for range balls - the way a premium feel course should be. Will play it every time I can find a deal time fee because it is easily in my top five courses in this area now.

I love this course. I think this course very much compares to the sea Island courses. And for the value, I would pick this course.

Played TPC Dye Valley the day before and the Sanctuary is even better. Don’t miss out on this gem.

Everything is in great condition. The driving range is awesome range balls included in green fee, greens are pure and roll good, fairways and tee boxes are awesome. The sanctuary is a great overall course.
