Woodmont Golf & Country Club

Tried to play on a day with intermittent storms. After maybe 60 minutes of rain, then clearing, I arrived at the course to find that their credit card machine didn’t work, they’d closed the driving range and practice green, and were behind on tee times by over an hour. Told me to call GolfNow for a refund. Generally I find the course layout solid.

It’s evident the GM doesn’t care about the image of this course. They have rusty and non working fans for the greens. They even had portable rented fans. Greens were horrible, and I’m not buying that they are bent. Other courses don’t have this issue that have bent, Like Echelon, Chicopee Woods, Harbor Club etc. Cart broke down on 4th hole in the middle of the fairway. What a joke Matheny is.

I cannot believe I have never heard of this course. Was looking around to try a new one and saw this one on Golf Now. The service was amazing parking lot was a far walk but no worries because one of the cart attendents picked me up from my car! I really enjoyed the front nine. The back nine was for sure a lot tougher but enjoyable. Beautiful course and fairways were in amazing shape as were the greens. Very professional facility I will be back!

All great except the 1 bunker I hit; it looked and felt like there was plenty of deep sand, but the sand was actually super shallow, and it just barely covered the hard base of the trap.

The rest if the course is great!

Nice that they provide an ice and water station near the range, and plenty of water jugs out on the course.

Course was great, but if you plan to eat or get drinks - DONT! They are rude and expect you to only have cash (for beer cart) and lies to you on the phone when you call about getting food at the turn. Not worth the money or effort. We will never be back!!

Other than the pace being slow, slower, slowest (almost 5 hrs with an 0830 time) everything’s else was great. Someone was driving around but clearly not keeping groups moving.

Course is in great shape, greens were sanded I’m assuming before or after aeration. But they were fast and true. Fun round as always at Woodmont

Great course from the fairways to the greens where in great shape. Bunkers could use some attention, buy overall great.

Staff was very friendly.

First time I played this course ill definitely be back.

Course was fantastic. Very well done stonework and beautification touches. Greens were a little inconsistent but could be due to recent airification.

Great layout and challenging but fun course to play

Course layout is difficult but fair. Asked starter which tees were appropriate for our hdcp and his suggestion was spot on.

Fast greens...if you are above the hole its tricky. Played as a twosome in less than 3.5 hours. Looking forward to next visit.

Had a good time at Woodmont. Course was in decent condition. The 15th hole sucks.

First time playing here and despite losing more strokes than anticipated, I had an absolutely fantastic round at this course. The course was in amazing shape. The track was a great layout and the fairways and greens were a luscious dark green and very beautiful. Definitely have to hit your spots here and if not, it can be challenging to get up and down. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were great. Highly recommend this club and course.

The last time I played at Woodmont the carts were in much better condition and had GPS monitors included, why have they been discontinued? The Beverage cart only started at 12:00 PM when we were finishing our round. The concession at the Turn was closed with no chance to purchase a beverage and the water station on the back nine at hole 12 or 13 did not work - no water was available

The course is gorgeous and in excellent condition but the lack of amenities took away from a perfect experience. It was still a great play!
