Woodland Hills Golf Club

I would definitely play this course again. Conditions were very hot, greens were recently punched, but a great layout and lots of elevation up and down. I’d definitely play again, and recommend to others.

The course is hilly, with several shots to a blind landing area, and small greens, many of which have a slight inverted-bowl shape. Without someone to guide you on tee shot placement, you can easily hit a “perfect” drive that leaves you in a terrible position for your second shot, or the ball is lost because it went through the fairway into the woods that line the narrow fairways. The greens are relatively small, the fairways somewhat narrow, placing a premium on precision rather than power. Overall a great value, and I plan to play here more in the future.

Very well kept course, will visit again. It’s a little off the main road, better access would be a plus.

Used to live in the area for 12 years and moved away 5 years ago. I drove 2 hours to play this Sunday and it was as good as I remember it.

Challenging course with some tight tee shots but also gettable Par 5s. You have to hit the ball in the right places on some holes or it’s dead.

I’ll be back again. I miss not living near here.

Fun and challenging course. Requires you to be accurate and smart with your shots.

This is a very easy course and well worth the money. Forgiving if you hit an errant tee shot most of the time. Very rarely have longer than a 4 hour round with a foursome. Great value for metro Atlanta area!

I’ve played Woodland Hills multiple times per year going back 4-5 years now and it just keeps getting worse and worse as far as Pace of Play is concerned. Multiple times ‘Marshalls’ passed by groups sitting on the tees without apologizing for the pace or asking if anything had been done.

While the course isn’t in the worst of shape, there has been a noticeable removal of trees and it’s starting to feel odd on some holes. The greens were impossibly slow, but not shaggy. There is no working mechanical ball picker so the range is shut down on/off while they pick so unable to warm up or take swings before the round.

Overall just a ‘meh’ day that could have been a whole lot better if they just didn’t try and fill the sheet as mush as possible.

Played here a few times now and it’s always the same. I keep going back thinking it’ll be worse this time but it’s not. Such a fun course that offers a solid layout for anyone playing. Staff is friendly. Course is always setup decently. The greens were a little sticky this time around but received rain the day before. Would attribute it to them probably not being cut or rolled as they usually are. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and even my enemies. It’s that good!
