Woodland Hills Golf Club

Greens were SLOW and nappy. Had to smash putts to get them to the hole, and despite them being slow they were unreceptive. Played the first 7 holes in good time. Got to 8 and had to sit and wait for two groups on the tee box from 8-12. I left because I didn’t want to spend all day on the course.

Staff is super friendly and aren’t snobs, not a super nice course but course is maintained well, if your looking for a decent course, good pace, and relaxed fun play woodland hills is the spot, place will eat your lunch too!

They let 5somes play on the weekend, the 5 in front of us we’re running the carts next to the green, they had signs saying no cooolers but most brought theirs, beer cans thrown down on the course. I complained to the marshals and they laughed it off. They could use new management and stricter enforcement to help make it an enjoyable experience

Have played this course since it was Royal Oaks,much nicer and better shape now than ever.Staff is always very friendly.I would recommend this course to any and all who love the game!!

This course was a lot of fun to play. The greens were fine but there are some bad spots in the fairways, no grass but hard red Georgia clay. For the money though, it’s hard to beat. Will definitely go back.

I’ve played this course many times and it is well worth the money. Not extremely maintained but for the cost it’s well up to par. Very well space out players even when it’s busy. I will play this course again.

The weather was hot and dry. Some of the fairways are crowned or sloped and you don't know where your ball will end up if it stops rolling. It doesn't appear that the fairways get much water except when it rains.. Also the driving range ball machine was empty which just slowed everything down.

Greens are in very good condition. Great value. Interesting topography and layout. Pace was very good. Some bald spots on fairways but overall good condition.

Would have been ok if not for the sprinklers running for the first few holes. Had to dodge the water to putt. After that the course was so wet the greens weren't even puttable. After a while the place dried out. The grounds keeper was watching the whole time which was also frustrating. The group I was playing with commented, "Why won't he turn them off since he sees us here?" Besides that everything else was ok.

Always enjoy playing Woodland Hills. Love the course layout and it’s always well maintained. Great value for the money!!
