Nice course for the value
Despite the recent heavy rains, the course was in pretty good shape. Because of flooding, the #2 hole was converted from a Par 5 to a short Par 3, but otherwise, the course was pretty dry, if a bit soft. Greens were in excellent shape and putts ran smooth. Only issue with them is the failure of players to fix their ball marks (C'mon people!). Enjoyed the round although pace was bit slow, but will try to play it again this year. They could use a bigger clubhouse.
Update
Course has some major drainage issues. Hole 2, a par 5 was set up as a par 3 due to flooded fairway. We did get a lot of rain, but that was several days ago. This hole is the biggest issue. Bunkers are still below average, however it does seem the issue is being addressed.
My biggest issue isn't with course maintenance by the staff. It 's the golfers. Not repairing ball marks. Slamming clubs on the greens. Very disrespectful!!. Worst I've seen anywhere. People, clean up your act!
Perfect
I played this course for the first time yesterday and everything was absolutely perfect. I've been wanting to play this course for sometime now and finally did. Great course conditions, layout, and staff was all awesome. I would definitely recommend this course.
Fun Day
This course had a great layout and was fun to play with my grandson. The greens were great. I also thought the course was in great shape. It's definitely worth playing again
Good Value
Challenging more on the front 9 with a lot of opportunities to lose your ball in tall grass and water. Overall it was relaxing and very scenic with wildlife. I would recommend to any of my friends.
Course has interest
Staff was kindly, Course lay out was good, We enjoyed thanks
Ranger was of no help to keep play moving
They had a ranger, but he was not into his job. We saw him watching, but doing nothing to try and keep play moving. We had a gap of 4 open holes behind us at a 4 1/2 hour pace of play, so likely 5 1/2 behind us.
Great golf course in my backyard
Fun course located practically in my backyard. It is worth it to drive from quite a distance to play here. Nice wide greens for the problematic slicers. GPS Range finder on all carts makes it easy to know your distance to the hole. Has some fun par 3's including a lou malnati's barn in the background on one. Quite a bit of sand traps. Make sure to bring your sand wedge.
Nice Track
I have played this course time and again since the early days. It has always bee na fair test and at times a combination of wind and wetlands can make the course much tighter. The greens offer a good contour and are challenging enough. Two island type greens on shorter par fours make for some fun and the other holes are a mixture to help play many shots even from the white tees and the golds will push it our to about 6500 yards. Usually enough to play for most I've played with there. Nice staff and don't let the clubhouse on wheels keep you from a great track.
Great late season round
The condition of the course was great, greens were soft and true, fairways were excellent.
Loved the course but not walker friendly.
For those of us seniors who like to walk, it would be nice if there were benches at the tee boxes. Also, visible yardage markers (colored stakes in ground) would limit time and effort spent in search of sprinkler heads, of which there are few. It's almost like they want you to take a GPS equipped cart.
Need a ranger for pace of play
Great course. Had a group of hacks in front of us that real slowed play. Should have a ranger to keep play moving.
Great course
The course was very nice and fun to play. I highly recommend it.
A nice course for bigginer and higher lever player.
The course is well maintained, at this fall season there are many loose leaf at many other courses, but not here. Fairway are wide so it is easy to play.
