Harbor Club on Lake Oconee

Me and my 9 yt old son played there. All the staff from pro shop to the restaurant we extremely nice. And helpful. We just started playing so are new to everything. Will definitely go back.

Renovations in clubhouse made food service not so great, but the food was fabulous.

Course was in great shape, greens had been sanded and were a bit slow but grass was great and everything was well maintained. Was playing blind as had never played before and none of my partners had either, but the course is fairly straightforward except a couple somewhat blind tee shots. Starter claimed course played 300-350 yards longer than the scorecard said, so encouraged us to play the white tees at 5900 yds. Having it to do over, I would probably play the green tees at 6200 yards. Whites made a few holes a bit too short for driver, more severe angles, etc. pace of play was great, we were not pressured and did not have to wait on anyone either. Would play here again!

Great course and definitely worth the hot deal ($79). The fairways and greens were in great shape and the course has a great layout. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was due to the condition of the bunkers. The bunkers definitely need some work, not horrible, but need the white fluffy sand, not thin clay.

Harbor Club was saturated yesterday due to the heavy rains we received all weekend, however, the greens were in good shape. Based on the cost that we paid, I would say that it was well worth the money given the condition of the course and the pace of play.

The green where in good shape . And the tee boxes where also in good shape . Cart path only due to high rain fall. Over all just as nice as good renydols plantation. I’m my opinion the corse ranger were nice and kept play moving along.

Course was in decent shape (Sand on the Greens) pace of play was slow. Probably could have used a person to ride around and keep people's pace up or advise them to let group(s) through.

Everything about this place was top-notch. The golf course is immaculate and it has a fun layout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked Mr. Burns, the starter.

Today was 5 hour round, the other day was a 6 hour round. slow play is frustrating but the course is beautiful.

This is a great course. Nice fairways and greens. I wish the club house restaurant stayed open until 6 for a nice dinner after a midday round.
