Improved - Greens much better
The course use to be in great condition 4-5 years ago. It went really downhill. My group moved to another course. I played it last year and the greens were terrible.
This time I played it, the greens were very nice. Will be playing it again. Hope they keep improving it. Got a great deal on Golf.Now.
Green Garden
This course had really bad reviews ,but I found it to be in very good condition....One of my best to play
Pleasantly Suprised
The course has been redesigned since I last played it. I liked the redesign. Course and greens were in excellent shape.
Wish they had GPS in the carts though.
great course!
This is a beautiful course, very challenging, really enjoyed my round. I've recommend it to some friends already. I give it two thumbs up!
Green Garden is a gem in the So. Burbs
Gr8 course that won't discourage high handicappers from playing. Great facilities!!!
Needs alittle work
Played the course after quite a bit of rain the previous week. Course a little soggy with standing water in some bunkers. Greens just okay. Rough long. Signage of some holes need to be improved. Generally nice facility with the benefit of a golf dome
This course needs some work
Played the Blue Course. Wet areas in the fairways. Greens were fair. It has the ability to be a great course. I hope they do the right thing.
Poor conditions
greens were un kept with bare patches and bumpy.
Fairways were of but fringe was so deep you waste an extra 10 min looking for balls that were 6" off the fairway.
Everyone in my group said they would not return.
Greens need work.
The greens have seen better days. Does anyone ever repair a ball mark? The rough was much longer than previous occasions.
Sunday during a Bear game, so staff was cut. No drink cart and turn around shack closed.
Office staff was very helpful. They went out of their way to locate an item my wife lost.
Green Garden
Very nice course! Fairways were in great shape, although very wet since it had just rained. Greens could have been in better shape, however. Lots of brown spots! Overall it was fun and a great deal!
Played 13 holes
13holes was enough. Course in bad shape played so slow. Don't go there pay more money and go anywhere else that's my plan.
Good food and staff
I can't complain to much about the course because the staff was great! My complain lies with the grass off the fairway. I know we've had a lot of rain here lately but I lost balls that literally sat right on the fringe of the fairway. I used both white and orange balls and I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find them.
Used to be
Better. Worth it. But not a go to. Over priced drinks. No turn around service. No beverage cart. Greens in bad shape. Still fun though, it's golf.
Green garbage
Made a tee time here because of the local
Convenience for the other three golfers.
Course- lousy conditions weeds everywhere , real buggy, ruts from the carts all over. Never saw a ranger or cart girl.
Staff- ignorant ! One of our golfers had a 2 1/2 year old gift card for Father's Day he wanted to use and they basically laughed at him and said that was the previous owners and they will not honor it to throw it out.
In summary WE are not going back!
Oh one more thing the cart person was sleeping in a cart when we pulled up and never moved to assist us one bit. STAY AWAY !!!!!
NOT IMPRESSED!
this was my first time playing green gardens gold course, it was a hot deal on golfnow.com for 15 bucks so with my 10 dollar discount code I decided to make the drive down for 5 bucks. even at 5 bucks I wasn't impressed, course was soaked all over with standing water everywhere, the greens were beat up around all the cups so no putts went straight at all, looked like the pins had not been moved all summer. I was told the course recently changed ownership so I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the poor maintenance or not but the gold course is in need of a lot of WORK!
good as gold
the course is a great test of your golf skills. you will use every club in your bag. if you have a gps golf app on phone, then use!
vast improvement
I hadn't play the course in over a year. I've utilized the dome all winter. What a difference a year makes.fairways were in good shape with the exception of the 18th on the gold.the greens were in amazing shape soft fast and attackable..
