Great greens
Fairways and tees are in good shape. Crabgrass and some weeds throughout the course. Greens are excellent since the switchover from bent to champions Bermuda. Was 3rd out but as a single, got around the 1st two foursomes, and was able to finish in less than three and a half hours. Ran into maintenance as they were watering greens. Had to wait on sprinklers to quit on two and three. Watch out for a couple of goofy holes with 16 and 17. Other than that, not a bad course.
Like the layout could use a little t.l.c.
Have generally enjoyed this course and considering all that the course has going on it was in pretty fair condition.
Good Course
Greens are now is the best shape I've seen them and for the money a very good course to play. Some holes are easy, however, serval will take a good score and turn it in to a okay day. Some holes you need to just hit to spots and not try to go for it.
This course was nice I love to play again in the late spring
In the fall course are not so nice but this course was pretty good to play. You have some nice features. The only bad experiences were the golf cart broke down on the 17 hole, but that was fun for us. I met three guys which I beat them.
If you enjoy pushing your cart. This is your course!
Let me start by saying I have never been to this course before and will not plan on going again. My son and I arrived to a group of people talking outside the pro shop. One of them eventually came inside and asked if we were the 2:45 group. I said yes and he issued us our first cart of the day and told us where the course began for front and back 9. We got to the 1st hole par 5 and teed off. Both of our first shots were short so the second stroke got us further down the course. This was my first experience with an electric cart and thought wow this thing is slow as we were going up the small hill we discovered it was slow because it was already out of juice. We made the decision to mark our shots and head back to the pro shop for another cart. We were issued another electric cart says gosh I don't know how that cart got on the ready line. I figure hey things happen and we went on our merry way. Front 9 were OK they had a temporary hole on 4. No body likes those but they are necessary from time to time. We started the back 9 both hitting much better and pushing fast to get done before dark. Unfortunately hole 11 was all we were going to get to this day because once again my no so electric new and improved cart was out of juice AGAIN. Really two carts in the same day...Nice. We abandoned the cart and walked. the next two holes. Finally deciding that hole 13 was going to be it as our speed of play having to walk the course was slowing down the groups behind us that had Carts... imagine that. We got one of the groups to help up push back the non electric cart back to the pro shop. By then it was after 5:30 and everyone in the pro shop had gone home. My take home is pack light for this fun experience because you are eventually going to be huffing around what you brought. We will defiantly not be returning.
Challenging course
Griffin Country Club is in good condition......however they have had a few problems with a couple of greens. They were aerated and topdressed a couple of weeks ago, and the greens should be back to looking really good shortly!! Recommendation: stay out of the rough!!!

The Club has been under new management since 2021. We'd love for you to come back out, give us another shot and hopefully update your review.
Wrong course. The Griffin Country Club does not start with a par 5 off either side. Unfortunate that you mistakenly gave a bad review and posted it to the wrong course.
