Happy to play again
My friends and I usually play the gold course but played blue this time. The course was in good shape. You could tell the greens had been aerated recently. They were pretty slow but not dinged up. Grass in the rough was not too long or filled with leaves. The golf now value for Friday afternoon was outstanding. Pace of play was 3 hours for 18 by my twosome. We couldn't have been happier. Facilities throughout the course are also nice and well kept.
Nice Course
Played the Blue and it needs a little attention. Lots of sticks and small branches on several holes, especially the 10th. Routing a little confusing with some Gold holes interspersed with the Blue. Somewhat challenging, but short and not a lot of water or bunkers.
Golfnow price was $33 (18% savings?) but was told it was really only $30. Well worth the money though.
NICE COURSE IF TAKEN CARE OF
Tee Boxes were in terrible shape. It looked like they
weren't cut in weeks.
Challenge
Course was in great shape with friendly personnel
Would definitely play again next time gold course
Good value for money
course was in good shape. Place of play was on the slow side and no rangers around to police pace of play. Otherwise good time and a good value.
Much Improved!!!
The course appears to be better maintained. Look forward to playing again.
Needs work
The course is in need of desperate repair. Rough not cut. If it was cut, it was cut high and you can see tire marks through it. Parts of course not at all taken care of. Greens were in ok shape. This course should be $20 bucks with a cart. Can't believe over the years how bad the place has become.
please repair your divots.
The greens are in bad shape. Other than the greens, the pace of play was great because no one was around. 18 holes for $16!
Rain
After playing three holes we were caught in a torrential downpour. We ducked under a hut for shelter and weathered the storm. Once it subsided we headed in as the course was thoroughly drenched and unplayable. Went to the pro shop to ask for a rain check and they offered $10. Only after threatening to go out and complete the round driving around in their fairways (as I pointed out people that were doing exactly that coming up the 18th hole) did they raise it to $25) - still not the full cost of the round. Thought they would have been a bit more cooperative. Also - no warning of the storm approaching (sirens, etc) - lightening and all.
