Brutally Slow
Played with a couple that hadn’t played much golf, that was ok. The 4-some in front was 3 holes behind and spent the day looking for balls in the woods.
The greens were recently aerated and weee 80% healed but the greens had a lot of dead spots.
Shaggy greens
I've played here countless times. 20 years ago, it was well maintained but that hasn't been the case for years. Still, for the price, it's been worth it. This past weekend was horrible. The greens looked like they hadn't been mowed in several days making putting frustrating. I don't expect a lot at this course, but they should've either closed the course for play or at the very least, discount the green fee because of the greens. It'll be a while before I return, if at all.
Long backed up day
We knew going in the course was just aerated so the greens and tee boxes being solid sand, but what we didn't expect was how backed up it would be. 45 minutes to play the first 3 holes and almost 5 hours to play 18 with 2 players.
Glad it wasn’t expensive…
I’ve played this course a few times, but this time was terrible. Tee boxes were in their normal terrible shape. Greens were being aerated so my expectations were low for those. The problem this time was the pace of play. There was no Marshall so there was a line to tee off. I ended up stopping at 9 holes because it was so slow.
Hot Saturday
Greens need help. You spend a lot of time in the cart between holes winding around the subdivision crossing roads.
Terrible pace, inconsistent greens, rude starter
Had a terrible experience playing here. It started with the rude starter. He asked for a receipt before we could even stop the cart. Then proceeded to tell us that we were late for our tee time (stating the incorrect time) and rush us to start when the group ahead was still in the fairway. The pace was incredibly slow and the entire course was backed up all day. . We ended up playing behind a group of 7 that played incredibly slow which lead to a 5 plus hour round. Lastly, the greens were in very poor condition and very inconsistent.
Don’t waste you time or money!!!
The tee boxes were terrible should have been a sign. But the greens are actually worse.
Seems they spent all their budget on fancy new golf carts with GPS and the ability to lock you down
You not be in their designated area. We were 1 hour and 15 minutes past the 4 hour round. They did have
A beverage cart running. First one passed us and it out stopping ,wasn’t until the Bach 9 we saw the cart again.
They do offer a hot dog shack at the turn on the course. Good dogs and beverages. It was very hot and not worth waiting to finish. We left after the 15th hole. This course has the potential to be a very good course, but it doesn’t appear they care about conditions. For $50 there are MANY other courses MUCH better shape. I will be scratching Creekside off my rotation.
Hot sunny Saturday
Greens were in very poor shape. You have to cross several roads in the subdivision spending a lot of time in the cart riding between holes and the path is not marked very well. The course in general is very tight and several holes you have blind shots into the green because the areas are grown up so high and need to be trimmed.
Great course
I have read a lot of the reviews and I was hesitant to play this course. I will say I was thoroughly pleased with our first time at the course. Yes some of the tea boxes were bare but it was very few and far between. That said the bunkers, greens, and fairways were all in great shape. My only complaint was the ladies at the front desk were not the kindest and didn’t seem to know what they were doing.
I have played many courses in the area and overall this stacks up with the best of them. I will definitely be back!
Good greens but tough teeboxes
Previous reviews are spot on. The greens are excellent but the fairways and tee boxes have little grass. Hard to push a tee into the ground on many holes. But for the price, still a great value as greens are excellent.
Greens are great. Fairways not so much
The course is fine people there are really wonderful. My issue was the Fairways were hard as a rock. Very sparse greenside bunkers were impossible as they haven’t been raked in a long time, but the greens were wonderful.
