My home course!
The course has gone up and way down over the past couple years. I've played it so many times, I can't count. Last Friday proved to be a testament to the work that has gone into bringing this public course back! Fairways are coming in nice, greens are receptive and true. The best VALUE course in Mcdonough, to me!
The county has done an excellent job getting the course in shape. Cart paths are under repair. The day I played the greens had just been sanded. Other than that, the course is in great shape.
Making Progress
The new management is moving in the right direction to make a round an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to see how the continued improvements/attention to the course are completed.

Pleasant Surprise
Played over the holiday weekend visiting my brother, as he lives down here and have never played we both were pleasantly surprised at how well this course was. From tee to green it was it great shape for November, the course is pretty much right there in front of you with water on most holes but not really in play unless you hit some wayward shots. Green were quick for fall but we could tell they would be much quicker in the summer. Staff was extremely friendly, we were paired with two locals who gave us plenty of tips as we maneuver the course. My brother said he'll be back out over the summer and when I'm down visiting I'll add this to my rotations of golf to make sure i play. Can't remembered what we payed but it was pretty inexpensive!
Had a nice golf outing
The course was in good shape and the greens rolled well enough for me. The fairways were a little tight but I adjusted. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

GREAT IMPROVMENT ON COURSE CONDITION
WE HAD A GREAT EXPERINCE, MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THE TWO GENTLEMEN THAT WERE ALLOWED TO PLAY WITHOUT PROPER ATTIRE, THAT UNDER MINES ALL THE HARD WORK AND DEDICATION THAT HAS GONE INTO MAKING THIS A CLASS PLACE TO PLAY........IMAGE IS EVERYTHING

I have played this course for years, it's under.new management. The sand traps are clean, cart path is marked for repair . The greens and fairways are in decent shape

You get what you pay for here
I loved everything about my first outing at the Cotton Fields,the course is very professionally managed and the even though there are water hazards everywhere,they are not a problem,tight off a few tee boxes but a good drive and your still on par,can't wait to get back for another round!!!

Course in Good shape
Overall the course is in good shape. Greens on the slow side. The got new carts with the usb phone charges. So bring your cables to keep your phone charged

Very much inproved
The new management is turning this back into the well maintained course it once was. Played in early July - terrible, thought it went down the tubes.
Played again 9/5 - massive improvement and was told it will only get better.
So glad to hear that. Glad I gave it another shot after 2 months.
I will be coming back soon.
