Cotton Fields Golf Club, The

The greens, fairways landscape are excellent. The pace of play was superb.

It had been a yr or so since I last played Cotton Fields. Was pleased with new greens and modifications/repairs made to the course (tree removals, sand bunkers replaced with grass bunkers, some new bunkers, some cart paths repaired).

Some holes have trees that narrow your field and force you to hit a fade (13 & 17). The layout is challenging but fair. Course is in good shape.

Nice course...I played before however, the pace is now very slow since the remolding.......looks great and very friendly staff just pace was extremely slow

The course is in excellent condition. I didn't play the front nine well and there's plenty of water to throw my clubs in if I really get frustrated. The greens are fast and true.

The course is better since they updated everything. Looks a little better.

Course is well maintained and the service is acceptable. The cart path needs repair in several places along the 18holes.

Played this for the first time in over 3 years. The greens were in fantastic shape "10 out of 10" rating. The tee boxes were mostly level, with good grass cover on most. And the fairways were well maintained. A few cart paths were in need of repair, but that probably does not explain why so many of my drives found them. The range was also in great shape -- good ground cover and mostly uniform elevation. Good course overall. I recommend it.

This was like going back in time. Greens prefect, fairways cut and price just right. They have made a huge come back. If you were waiting to see reviews , here it is. Go play.....

Played this course in September of 2014 and although the layout was nice, the course was in terrible shape. AWESOME job by the new management and grounds crew in getting this place turned around. Fairways were lush and full, greens in very good shape (with exception of a couple bare spots) - not all that firm yet but still new. Not a huge amount of elevation change but plenty of water. Walkable course. See only more improvements coming, and this will become a favorite in South Atlanta.

The new greens they put in are very nice. I love this course and am glad to see it back to great shape!

It's been a couple years since I last play C F. New management is making changes and you can see changes. The fairways are defined and ball sits up, and greens are better. The traps/bunkers still need work and new sand-- a lot of small rocks and pebbles in sand. The cart paths remain horrible but new group assures they will have new paths by next spring. Still a a good and challenging venue to play.

They really did a great job on repairing the course, it looks beautiful out there.

Good price for a morning on Saturday. I was very disappointed in the condition of the putting greens on each hole. The course was in overall good condition. I just was really disappointed in the putting greens, this was the second time they were in such poor condition.

I have played this course for many years. It used to be known for it's great greens, but that is no longer the case. To their defense, they are trying to make repairs and improvements. Fairways were okay, but the greens are very bumpy. It's a great track...especially when they get it finished. Right now, I wouldn't pay more than $20 to play.

This course will undergo major refurbishment during the next 4 - 6 weeks with new greens and improved cart paths. These improvements will make this a jewel for Atlanta golfers.

Although the course was in good condition and we had a great time playing, they are renovating the course and club house. It made some of the shots difficult and some of the tee boxes where moved around which messed up the yardage. One major thing I would say please put back the yardage markers back in the fairways.

There is alot going on. The last time I was there it was in real bad shape, since there has been a lot of work. I have always loved the layout of the course, I've been playing here since 1994. In a few weeks it will be great once the greens come in.

I love this course but it is honestly not ready to be opened yet. a lot of improvements under construction but not complete. the greens are getting better but if you like putting on a beach this is your course. I think its two months away from where it needs to be.
