Brazell's Creek Golf Course
About
Brazell's Creek Golf Course has a unique layout that is like getting to play two courses in one. Designed by Georgia native Denis Griffiths, the course begins with a parkland-style front nine and then transitions into a links course. The original nine holes, the front nine, are connected to the new nine by a winding 1,500-yard bridge. The player-friendly front nine offers some good opportunities to build up your score before the more challenging back nine, which will test even the most seasoned golfers. The fairways on the front nine are tree lined and narrow but you won't have to deal with the wind, which you'll be confronted with on the longer, tougher back nine. Brazell's Creek Golf Course's signature hole is the par-3 15th. This 207-yard hole plays over wetlands to a large, undulating island green.

This is truly a hidden gem. Play the first nine and get a big surprise on back nine. Would recommend to all golfers.
Great Course with very friendly staff
Had a great time playing this course. Always very helpful staff. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area. Great value too!
Staff
The staff needs a fire lit under her. It takes forever to simply just pay and get out. There was a line almost out of the door waiting to pay and all when I went . Everyone was talking about how ridiculous it was. And this wasn’t just that day because we have been multiple times to play and it’s the same. If it wasn’t so close and we had our own course then that course would definitely struggle to get players to play.
However, the course and everything else was great.
Golf and camping
This is a surprisingly nice course considering it's inside a state park and run the state of Ga. I will definitely be coming back with the family and possibly having some reunions here. They have cabins, and RV park, and a traditional camp ground.
Pleasantly Surprised
We played a round while camping and thoroughly enjoyed it. Course is well kept and maintained, perhaps helps to be in a state park. We plan to return for a weekend in June for a guys golf weekend. They offer nice, reasonable packages.
State Park Fun
It is a tale of two courses! Front nine is a traditional southern course layout. Beautiful old pines and hardwoods line the fairways! The back nine looks more like an old links course. Two courses for one price!
Great golf for the money!
Cold and windy
Played back nine first. Wo!!! Wind was kicking. Tough day. Greens were mowed and the color a dark emerald green. Very nice putting and looks. Front was still wet and CPO. Still dont know what club to use off the tee on #7. Overall nice day. Great value....
Different.....
Overall after 10 inches of rain in 2 days. Just to play was good. Front was cpo..pretty wet but playable. Saw a recent review with golfers doing what ever they want, happened this day too. A fivesome not complying to the rules ridind all over. Pink shirt kid you know who you are. Saw donot tracks on #9 fairway. No ranger so it seems locals do what they want. The back was open and dry but again was behind 5 carts with 7 people. Little kids included. Could be really nice if they had the means to see the rules of golf were inforced. State Park course.....is what it is. Course was in good shape..surprised. Koodos to greens keepers having to go behind people that don't respect your course or the rules of golf.
Run amock
This course allows 5 golfers in a group, and 6 golfers in a group (at least the day I was there they did). Also, once you pay your greens fee you can start on the first hole or you can start on the 10th, who cares. Imagine being the first group off on 1 then make the turn only to find yourself having to wait in line to tee off on 10. This isn't how it's done. You can reserve a tee time if you wish, but don't waste your time....there's no such thing here.
Great course, great value
Greens were just aerated so they were a little bumpy but overall, in good shape. Tee boxes, fairways, are in great shape. Very fun course to play. Front 9 is tight and requires some shot shaping. Back 9 looks like you are on an entirely different course. Wide open, so grab your driver and let it rip.
Great course
Got a great deal on 2 rounds of play only to show up and discover lower prices because the greens had been aerated. We played at the lower price on Friday and again during our scheduled tee time. Great course. Lots of fun!
Decent
Two courses in one, traditional front nine, links type back nine. Not very difficult to play.
Two totally different courses.
Loved the back longer and more opened. Two totally different 9s. I like to grip it and rip it. I am not a shot maker. Which is why I would prefer the back over the front. You could play the front nice twice and the back nine twice . Play two totally different 18 hole courses on the same track. Haven't seen to many like this that vary this drastically. I enjoyed it. Would probably enjoy the front more if I knew the lay out. Would be nice if they offered a yardage book or some kind of map for the holes. Even on the back it could get a little strange on direction to the next hole.
