Signature 9th—very memorable par 5 Photo submitted by gshawcross on 08/14/2013
A Great Course
Course was well maintained:
- fairway well kept
- bunker full of sand
- green is well maintained, could be a little faster (just personal preference), but fair.
Pace of play a little slow .
Overall, it’s worth a drive and money. A nice course
Great value
Paid $48 for 3 thanks to my GolfPass+! My 14 yr old was free with paid adult (as are all kids under 16 after 1 pm M-F). Course was immaculate. Greens were cut LOW, very slick but smooth. I played here 1,000 times in my youth as an employee and it was rarely this good condition wise. The old bent grass did not hold up like the Bermuda everyone uses now. My only complaint is I do not like how they shrank all the bunkers. The giant greenside one on #6 that used to be there was one of the things that made the course unique. Worth every penny either way especially compared to the crazy cost of metro courses.
Vourse is in golfing condition
This course was in excellent condition, greens was slow due to sand on them after aeration, need cutting, fairways was beautiful, staff was very nice and professional.
Good condition
Overall great layout and well kept.
One odd thing to me is they allow carts within 10 yards of ‘fringe’, which results in some rough areas
When leaving green going to next tee box.
Great course for the money and very good condition
Best Value Around
The entire course is in good shape. It's very playable and the best value in the entire area. I travel 50 miles to play it often.
Great course
Course was in great shape. Greens were responsive and rolled good. Definitely be back soon
Nice layout
Signature hole (#9) ate my lunch, but it's a great challenge and I can't wait to try it again.
It’s not the St.Andrew’s Bridge but it’s a challenge!
Course was in great shape. Greens were perfect even on a damp day. Overall course was in excellent condition for early spring. Challenging layout and fun to play. Course is a big out of the way, but worthy of the drive to get there.
Best deal around
Well kept course in great condition. Greens didnt'
roll as smoothly as my home course but that's the only nit in an otherwise lovely round of golf..
Swamp
All fairways were a mud hole greens were in rough shape with patches on most of them.
