The ‘bridge’ never disappoints!
Fathers Day round with two of my boys and my bride. Once we moved around a VERY slow foursome we made it around in less than 4 hours. Course was in great shape but greens were a little slow for our liking. This is one of our go-to courses (I played the very first day it opened in 1994!
Slow Play
We got behind a group with 7 teenagers and they weren't letting anyone play around them and the round was 5 hours long. A couple employees were riding around the course and never addressed the problem. Bad course management.
Price
Although it was Sunday and a sunny day I just don’t think $65 is a fair price. For 65 dollars I expect to see the cart girl more than once and the greens to not have been aerated and (spray painted green) days before. Aerated green price should be no more than 50 bucks for stonebridge. Getting ridiculous these days to play a round of golf in Rome.
Fairways were in great condition.
Course was a little shorter than I expected but the fairways were in great shape. Greens were air raided couple of days before I played so there were some holes to deal with. But the greens were very nice overall. I like the front 9 a little better. Very fun course to play. Beautiful lake holes and a very challenging 9th. Clubhouse staff was very friendly and helpful. Range was in good condition and one of the few places that have grass instead of turf. Will definitely play again.
Nice Course...needs a marshall to keep pace of play
Really like playing this course. No starter, so #1 tee box was a little slow and backed up (~10 min). Guys wearing work jeans to play in, hitting from the blue tees and they need to be on the white or senior tees. Same group has a guy with 2 children on the course (~6 yrs. old)...that was interesting, as if we weren't slow enough. Hey, it is Sunday and I was on the golf course with great weather so I should not be complaining. I'll still come back and play here.
Good Layout
It’s a nice layout, too early in the year to talk about course conditions. Hopefully, when the grass is green, the conditions of the course would improve.
Great course
Greens were awesome! Fairways and tee boxes were mud pits due to recent heavy rain. This is a great course under normal conditions.

I hope spring comes soon and the grass turns green.
