Very nice challenging course, staff was friendly, actually one of the friendliest staff I’ve dealt with.
Expectations Exceeded
The course exceeded my expectations for the condition and the price. Definitely worth the ride (40 minutes) .
I think it’s ok
Having played this course only twice, I’d say it’s pretty nice. The clubhouse could use a little work but not bad for state run course. $6 for 50 balls at the range. Can’t beat the price for 18 holes though....
Great Course
I have only played this course once but it was a great course. Fairways looked great!
Great Course
The Creek at Hard Labor is a lot of fun to play. Great layout and a fair test from the blue tees. Course is in great condition. Definitely worth playing if you're in the area.
Great Course!
I grew up playing this course and it is probably in the best shape it has been in a long time. Fairways and greens are cut well making for great surfaces to hit from. The roughs are being kept higher making for an overall difficult course if you don’t keep it in the fairway. Awesome experience, and definitely worth the money to play here.
Always Good!
Course was in great shape and the greens were pretty fast. Fairways and tee boxes were great. Definitely challenging and I suggest that you leave the big stick in the bag on some holes. Staff is always friendly. I’ve never had a bad time out there.
Great value for a very challenging course. Good carts with USB charging ports. Professional staff and well stocked proshop.
Go PLAY the Creek
Overall best shape I’ve seen course in recent years. Tee boxes little thin but rest of course, fairways & greens in great shape. Grass cut defining fairways, even letting rough grow, which can be penalizing if playing from off fairway. Got a great deal on Golfnow, course not crowded, played in less than 4 hours. Cold water in coolers handy on a hot day. Highly recommend & impressed with overall condition.
Family Fun Day
Played with my kids for a family outing. Here are a few positives and negatives:
Positives:
1. Junior tees
2. Clean clubhouse
3. Ice readily available for coolers on carts
4. Greens were “friendly” for beginners
5. Had a good time with my family.
Negatives:
1. Water coolers on course were empty
2. The golf app that I use for yardage & scoring had the 1st tee as the 10th tee. If I remember correctly, The Creek flipped the front and back nines.
Greens a little rough
Seems like greens had bee aerated recently and were still very bumpy. Other than that course was fine.
The greens
The greens had been aerated but that's what has to be done. Overall the course was in great shape.
