Very fun track
This course is fun to play! Great mix of long/short par 4's. Holes bend both ways, lots of elevation, greens rolled good. I'll definitely be back!
Great Course
Greens and fairways were in great conditions!
Great course in Georgia
Course had excellent views, a fun layout, and was a great time for me and my buddies. Aside from the tee boxes needing a little love, had no complaints out here. Would 100% go back again!
The Creek
I’ve played this golf course many many times and it has always been great. Super friendly staff beautiful layout just a great place to play. The greens are very fast and hard. But very true at the same time just a great place to play golf.
Course is Greening Up
Fairways are starting to green up nicely and golf balls were rolling pretty smoothly on the greens at a little slower speeds than usual. However, some of the tee boxes were almost void of grass and could use some TLC.
Great Course.
Greens are fast and challenging. Pro shop is friendly and merch fairly priced. Well worth the money!
Country golf with first class appeal
I love off the beaten path country golf with first class operations. Great layout with awesome views. Challenging yet fair test. You need to try this place out.
GREAT GREENS
The challenging undulating greens on this course were in great shape for this time of year. Looking forward to the rest of the course to green up for excellent future playing conditions.
Great Course - love the new greens...
Greens were replaced in Oct 2023 and we loved they way they roll. I will say the conditions were dry and the greens were very hard - couldn't get a shot to stick on them at all which made approach shots challenging but the greens really rolled true. Would enjoy with a little more moisture to soften them up. Pace of play slowed way down at one point with no ranger monitoring the situation but then sped back up after a foursome ahead of us quit at the turn. Very scenic course - played in late March before fairways and tee boxes had grown in - would be that much nicer after the fairways get a chance to grow in (guessing by late April?). Had a great time...
PJ
Greens are excellent.
Tee boxes not so good
Fairways mix with good and bad.
Another Sweet GA State Park Course
The course opens with a couple of lamb-like holes, but the lion-like holes rule the day. The elevation changes offer both refreshing views and frustrations when shots just a few yards from the middle of the fairway might roll 50 yards into the edge of the woods. That’s just the nature of the beast at Highland Walk. The greens are premium. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You’ll find lots to like At this state park course, along with all of its sister courses far and near.
Hard Labor Creek is a gift from above
I’ve loved this course for several decades. It’s totally worth the 35-minute drive for me. Greens are incredible. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
