Cow pasture
Waste of time and money there's nothing I can say positive about the course go play crosswinds not here
Just a great day...
I love MC because Paul and Cameron are great people. They treat me well everytime I play. First I was a super at a 9 hole executive course in Florida with very little budget and labor like MC, and it's a struggle. I can play tee to green all the time. Great course to work on your game. Least MC has grass on the greens not like some in the area. 195 yard par 3 with a quarter size green not so easy. Great mix of dog legs left and rights. If your struggling with your game, great course to go to. Pace of play......outstanding. Thanks to the retirees to give up their time for the say to assist in some course maintenance. You dont have to go pay 100 bucks to have a great time playing golf.
GolfNSVNA,
Thank you for the compliments on the staff and course. We strive to treat everyone well.

Great value -fun course
First off, trust the gps. It IS amongst the paper mill. Second, it’s not a class A course. . The greens aren’t smooth and the fairway is rough.
BUT. The people were friendly, the pace was great, the value is awesome and my husband and I had a blast !! We would definitely go again if we were in the area.
u314159597918,
You are absolutely right with GPS. The course was built in 1937 when nothing was around us. Now we are in the middle of everything.
Appreciate the compliments!

Good practice course
Decent course for practice, holes are pretty straightforward compared with other courses, for value great spot to work on your game and not feel crowded on the course. Plays fast which is fine when it’s mid summer in GA.
Two recommendations; 1. Change the flag color on the holes, very hard to locate flags in morning with sun angle. 2. Last few holes greens need some divot repair but understandable with weather and upkeep that it’s a challenge.
Good course for the money
This is not a championship caliber course and not advertised as one. Simple 9 hole course to let you enjoy working on your game or get away for a few hours and play golf. I would recommend this course
u314159419813,
I appreciate the review. We are in desperate need of rain, which has affected course conditioning. But you are right, great place to work on your game after work.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Poor conditions
Nine hole course that is in the middle of an industrial park. The grass hadn’t been cut in a week. Patches of heavy grass in the middle of the fairways. Greens extremely slow. Also hadn’t been cut in days. Don’t waste your time or money.
u1318719,
Sorry about the course conditions. Our maintenance staff priority was the installation of a new enlarged putting green and several basic tasks were pushed aside. We are back with conditioning so give us a try.

Dear Anonymous,
Thanks for playing our course on Monday. I was curious the specific issues with:
* Friendliness of staff
* Amenities
* Conditions
Would like to know what steps we could take as a course to improve. Thanks for you constructive criticism.

More bang than you’d expect
I’m a single digit player and this course intrigues me. The blue tees are difficult and it makes for a competitive round. It’s cheap, the greens are in great shape, the fairways are tight, and the bunkers are well kept. Can’t beat it for the money.
ajvanzyl,
Thanks for the positive comments about the course. We have been working to "revitalize" the course and the efforts have been great. Thanks for your support and keep smiling!
Great Bargain Course
This is a great course for the price. The landscaping was well maintained on all holes and the greens were well taken care of. This is a great course to play when you are working out kinks in your game for both irons and driver. It’s not going to play like a course that costs $80 a round, but it plays much better than the low price it is.
admaryland,
Thanks for the great review. The course and greens have been a big focus for us and the dividends have taken hold. Thanks again for the great view!
Travis3570930,
Thanks for the 4 Star Review. The course has been striving to improve the conditioning and our efforts are being seen. Appreciate your support and keep smiling!
Andy6813111,
Thanks for the 4 Star Review. The course conditioning was weak in February since the course experienced a 14-week wet season during the Winter. If you come out now (June 21), the course is in GREAT SHAPE. Thanks for the support!
Nice course great vale
Probably can't get a better value. If yo are looking for all the bells and whistle's this may not be the course for you. However if you just want to get out and play a round it works out great. Of note you my want to cal to check directions as our GPS got us into the international paper factory.
rengarth,
Thank you for the 4 Star Review. Hope you return next time you are in town. Keep smiling!

Early winter round ok
Greens are good. Fairways are getting a little thin because we’ve had the first frost. Likely won’t get any new grass for a couple months. For the money it’s a good place to work on your game.
Good value
Played here several times this year. The course was a little wet in spots due to recent rains but greens were in good shape. This is a great layout to work on your game. Great value for the money.
Great price, course is in pretty good shape
Have played here several times the past few years. Improvements have been made to fairways and greens. Conditions are pretty good now and if you can snag a hot deal tee time it’s well worth the money.
I have not been playing that course over the last several years but I started playing it over 20 years ago. The course is not maintained, The greens were not bad but the fairways and overall course needs more frequent cutting. The cart paths have many pot holes. It needs cleaning. I could be a lovely little course as it was back in the day.
Overall great value
This is not a great course in the grand tradition; they won't be holding the state am here anytime soon. But then again, where else can you play as inexpensively in a relaxed atmosphere? This is the perfect track for beginners; the course has just enough variance to be interesting and moderately challenging but does not have all the nonsense associated with many of the pretentious grand courses with forced carries and 15' deep sand traps. The course is a little rough around the edges, and sometimes you run into little oddities on the greens, tufts of weeds here and there, but I've seen worse. There's generally grass in the fairways, so there's that. The clubhouse is dingy and the posters on the wall are a good 40 years old, but the staff is always friendly. Very good, down home atmosphere that remind me of the courses I used to play decades ago when I first learned the game. Long as I'm in the area, I'll always play there from time-to-time.
Sorry we are not Augusta National... our course was built in 1937 and our revitalization plan has our course in solid shape. We don't agree with your assessment and have reported your comment due to "trolling".
