About
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Highland Course at Lake Arrowhead weaves through rolling woodlands. Every hole offers unique scenery and stunning mountain views. The golf course was completely redesigned in 2008, which makes it one of Atlanta's younger courses; nevertheless it has quickly garnered a strong following amongst locals thanks to not only the challenging layout but also the affordable rates and beautiful setting. Lake Arrowhead's convenient location makes it even more appealing, it sits less than an hour north of Atlanta. The golf course features strategically placed bunkers and plenty of trees. It is a layout that requires careful course management. The 14th hole is arguably the most difficult. This tricky par 5 is known to test even the most skilled players.

Awesome course!
This was a very challenging course, but fun to play. You even run into wildlife occasionally. Although it rained about halfway, I highly recommend this course.

Fairways had more than a few clumps of weeds/crabgrass but overall good condition ! Will def be back again !

Not the first time but maybe the last
No worries golf etiquette anywhere and that’s saying a lot for Georgia where golf etiquette has been dead for years. Love to be 80 yards from the group in front of you and them pretend you don’t exist. If you want to play at a snails pace come on down

Demanding course
The course is very challenging. You have to control distance and hit to spots in order to stay in play. The greens are in fair shape, but the players seem to have forgotten how to fix divits. My only major complaint is the "sand traps" they seem to have been neglected and turned ferrel. There isn't really any sand and there are huge ravines in them where the water has dug them out.

If you want to wait on a cart for 30 minutes then proceed to play a 6 hour round….. this place is for you!

Lake arrowhead isa great golf course,it was mint condition. Greens were exceptional, the staff was friendly and helpful veey attentive to any needs u might of had

Very challenging course.
You need your best game to fully appreciate the course. It requires disciplined cours management and accurate ball sticking. Also the greens are challenging to read. All in all it is a wonderful day of golf at a challenging course. Bring you A game.

Greatest Day!
I had an amazing day at Lake Arrowhead! Played 18 in the morning, had lunch in the clubhouse, and went out for another 18 in the afternoon. Met some amazing people on the course and on the staff making it feel like a great place to be. You get amazing views and challenges on every hole! Go play it, and then come back and play it again!
