About
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Highland Course at Lake Arrowhead weaves through rolling woodlands. Every hole offers unique scenery and stunning mountain views. The golf course was completely redesigned in 2008, which makes it one of Atlanta's younger courses; nevertheless it has quickly garnered a strong following amongst locals thanks to not only the challenging layout but also the affordable rates and beautiful setting. Lake Arrowhead's convenient location makes it even more appealing, it sits less than an hour north of Atlanta. The golf course features strategically placed bunkers and plenty of trees. It is a layout that requires careful course management. The 14th hole is arguably the most difficult. This tricky par 5 is known to test even the most skilled players.

Interesting layout with lots of elevation and a great price. Difficult.

Fox creek
Great little coarse. Play here very often. When the range is open(currently closed until Jan 1) the warmup area is solid. Plenty of option for drinks and snacks. Tee boxes and greens 9 times out of 10 are in great condition. Aesthetically lacks a bit but for 35 bucks you get a solid round of golf

Play and Enjoy
Nice course, staff and scenery. There was a frost delay but the starter was open to smaller groups starting on #10 to reduce the wait. Good move on the course and players behalf.

Fun layout, greens in very good shape, and t boxs were 50/50. pace of play was way too slow... no Rangers ... no beverage cart on a Saturday

Solid course
This course is most definitely challenging for all levels of players from beginners to natural born golfers. There was a frost delay this morning which set back about 2 hours. Besides a couple of slow groups in the guys behind us continually hitting into us while we were waiting, I look forward to visiting this course again in the Spring when hopefully things will be beautiful and more wide open! Very nice course in a great location!

Good course. Greens in great shape
All good, but the tee boxes are in poor shape. Beyond that’s a great mountain course.
