Hole 15 is a challenge.
Good for the money, looking forward to the next time.
Cartpath needs work
This just an average track if you're working on your game. Greens are small and in somewhat decent rollable condition. Cups are not cut good as most of the edges are fuzzy. Ball will not stop if you are on the wrong side of the cup. Fairway needs much grass but your ball will roll a long way. For the price you paid, it's tolerable.
Bang for the buck
This isn't a high dollar course nor does it pretend to be. Played here because other plans fell thru but I had a blast. You can really unload with your driver without getting into much trouble. The course was in pretty good shape for February and my biggest complaint was golfers dragging their feet on the greens and I even saw a few cigarette burns on the greens as well. For the dollar though, its a ton of fun and I'll go back.
Best Place To Work On your Game
I have played this course several times since the summer of 2015. I was told it was a great course to work on your game and the price is like an extended time on the driving range.
There are challenging holes but for the most part the fairway will not hurt you if you slice or hook.
The people that work there are absolutely the friendliest you will will find. After all the rain we had in metro Atlanta we were still given the green light to drive on the fairway with our discretion.
The course is normally not crowded so your pace of play can be relaxed.
Great Course for the money
I have played Pine Hills before about 5 years ago and I didn't think much for the course. I played the course again on 13 Dec, 2015 and it was night and day. This is a nice course for the money, greens where in great shape, and fairways where what you would expect for winter. For the price you pay to play Pine Hills you just can't beat it, a lot of fun for my Sunday Morning foursome and I will becoming back
Love this course for the money, ladies in the office were great.
Course was what I need, not long but open. putting green can be change.
Landscape
The grass on the course was very well kept, no real tall grass; fairways were excellent! First time playing there, will be coming back.
Course is in Great Shape!!!
Wow... not the same course. I use to play this course for practice. After 3 months of not playing (injury), I was shocked and surprised to see what great shape the course was in. The new owner (I don't know who) has put some time and effort in this place. Great value for the money!!!
In the past this course has had a bad reputation for being in poor shape... but not today! Most courses are over grown due to the heat, but not this place. Very well maintained! Fairways in great shape with only a few summer heat spots. But the greens... wow... a little slow but in fantastic shape!!!
FIrst time
Very good course for the cost, but I wish the greens were quicker.
OK for the money
I went as a single but was paired up with somebody who has never played golf before. His partner was teaching him to play and letting him use his clubs. After 2 holes of extremely slow play, I moved ahead as a single. But then, 1 hole later I caught up with the group ahead of me. It was extremely slow, so I joined the 2 some. We waited 5 to 10 minutes on every hole. It was painful. The course was OK for the money, but just too slow.
Not bad for the price!
If you are looking not to spend a lot of money but want a full size course to play this is it . I understand the management is new. They were punching the greens the day I played so the back nine was closed . The front had been punched the day before and they were rough. The course has potential and the ground crew is working hard to improve the conditions. The fairways are partially watered so you will get roll. For $14 dollars I got my money worth and hope they continue to improve the course.
pine hills
excellent value for the money; a good course for the beginner or for working on your game. friendly staff and fellow golfers. only concern is no water provided on the course.
Not bad but a little frustrating
First timee its happened but apparently golf now and the golf course do not communicate because the course was having a tournament so that was a little frustrating to say the least in terms of pace of play. For the money you can't beat the price and the greens were not bad at all so I would recommend the course but you just might want to call first if you are using golf now
this course has a great pace.
this course had a great pace through all 18 holes. Overall the course was great. The course would be five star if the greens could be worked on a little more.
Welcoming staff
Some of the greens could use some work but overall this is a decent course and the staff was very nice. We look forward to returning.
Decent course for the money
Course is ok for the money. The greens are BAD!! Owner says they have gotten better. Can't imagine them before.
still just a cow pasture
most tee boxes and greens in bad scape. fairways could use a few more cows to eat the weeds.
Dissappointing fairways and greens
I played as a single this day and was surprised to see the course in such poor shape. The fairways were cut so low that many lies were basically on dirt. The greens (especially the back nine) were bare of grass on a few holes. On some holes you couldn't see a difference between fairway and green.
I would not pay their normal fees to play this course as it exists today. My discount through Golf Now made it less painful.
I did play in the fall and found the course playable so I was very surprised at what I saw this round.
I hope that management takes steps to improve the playability of the grounds as the layout is adequate for most golfer in my opinion.
No great features
I have play a lot of different Course, and this was like going to play in a cow Pasteur. I hope they get in better shap.
