Kahili Golf Course

So many "photo" worthy holes plus excellent playing conditions: greens uniform, fairways excellent, nice choice of tees. When playing in the afternoon expect wind (though we were lucky and had only moderate breezes) . Overall one of the prettiest courses for a moderate price.

Was recommended to play this course from Jimmy's golf club rental and wasn't let down it was a great course at a very good price.

Course was an excellent experience except the greens were a little bumpy and very slow.
Great value on Maul

Kahili is different than some courses on Maui. The holes run horizontal to the mountains vs. other courses on the island will run up and down the mountains. This makes for more normal lies. I started early in the morning and never experienced any strong trade winds that would normally effect your ball flight. There is a GPS in every cart that will give you verbal tips at the beginning of every hole. The staff at the course is very customer oriented and helpful before and after your round. I would play their again.

I have only good things to say about this course. From the time we arrived till the time we finished up we had a blast. The staff was great, the course was in great condition and fun to play. I'll definitely go back and play this coarse again when I'm in Maui.

Booked the course online with a very good rate and enjoyed playing this course located up hill making it challenging due to elevation changes.
The organization is very professional and perfect timing of the tee time.

I played on a warm Sunday afternoon. The course was in good shape. Greens rolled smooth, but much slower than I was used to, so it took a few holes to get used to. Set up kind of like a resort course; wide fairways, and the rough wasn't really all that penal. A fun round.

tradewinds impact play. course is hilly and sloped but very playable. best value we found in maui on golfnow. course is well maintained. great course for new or intermediate players. restaurant has great views of midisland valley.

Good golf course and the staff is very good. Pace of play was right wher it should be--3 1/2--4 hrs. You must learn to play the wind and the greens are very hard. The ball tends to run through rather than stop.
Very good value when you can play 4 or 5 rounds at Kahili for the price of one round at the overpriced resort courses.

Played twice while in Maui,wind makes this course unplayable...two to three club difference,wind in face constantly...$50 course at best

Overall the course is very nice and avery good value. The staff was friendly, especially Diane when we returned our cart as she wiped down our clubs. The wind yesterday made for a challenging round. Only a few suggestions to the course managers. One, work on you tee boxes, they were a little beat up and unlevel. Two, have a more frequent beer cart running around and three, consider having an ATM machine on the property.

The course condition and staff was great. It does get windy in the afternoon, so if that is not your preference play earlier.

Found the conditions to be on the dry side. Nice lay out. Speed of play was a little slow. No Marshall. No Beer Cart.

great course and the cost was very reasonable. Very Windy but still very nice. I found plenty of traps however all were in great condition.

Played this course twice. First was in winds of 35 mph+. Hard to have much success. Played second time when it was just breezy, and a lot more fun. Course was in good shape and the staff was friendly and professional.

we're going back today. The greens are tricky always putt to the ocean no matter how you think you read the green.

Kahili golf course was a very fun course to play. Each tee shot seemed to require a slightly different approach but there was always a pretty clear choice (aided by the helpful GPS tips). The greens typically broke more than what was read (a lot more for most of our foursome) but were completely fair. I imagine one could shave 4-5 putts off their round if they played a second time. I would recommend Kahili to those who want a break from resort courses. It is set in a beautiful natural setting on the lower slopes of West Maui mountain. The sun beams in on you all day while the banyan trees provide opportunities for shade.
It exceeded all of our expectations.
