About
Kahili Golf Course is positioned on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, offering picturesque views of the regal Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean.
The world-class layout is a popular stop for visiting and local, amateur and tournament golfers alike. The par-72, 6,554-yard course, constructed in 1991, was designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright.
Elevation changes are the norm at Kahili, with par 3s on the back side laying up and downhill to small greens. A lake and a dry creek bed are in play on the front side, making accuracy a necessity. And the par 5s are short enough to give long hitters a chance at birdies and eagles.
Kahili features beautiful practice facilities with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. Golfers can relax after a round at Kahili Restaurant, which offers good food at value prices. Also, for golfers with larger party needs, the Nahele Banquet Room is the ideal location for weddings, reunions, business meetings and seminars.

Love this course
A fun course to play we really like playing here as there is usually a breeze to keep us cool. The staff is friendly & helpful. A good value on Maui.
Windy and challenging
Great value for money here. The GPS system gives advice and it should be listened to as the wind has a big effect on every hole. Don't be put off by it because the views are great, and the course layout excellent and it has some great green designs.
Generous fairways and tricky greens
Friendly course if winds not too strong. 8 holes into it, 7 with it and 3 across. In good shape not too rough. Sand decent.
Not many golfers out at noon. In at 3hrs and 45.
Quick Early Morning Round
Started just after 8:00 a.m. and finished by 11:15 a.m.
Lush landscape and terrific views
Weather is always an issue with winds and rain in the picture. We were fortunate enough to have a splendid day with no rain and only light trade winds for the most part. The course is in great shape and is a very good layout. Some very tricky breaks in the greens make it that much tougher to make pars. Enjoyed the day very much and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great deal for Maui golf.
Great day out!
Great day out. Greeted by friendly staff, pace of play was pretty good and the views were beautiful. Course is in a little rougher shape than last time we played two years ago but still great value for the price.
Great Course Excellent Value
Golf on Maui is expensive and this course is the best value for money on the island. Course is in great shape, is tricky but fair.
Paid less than $80 all in, and completed our round in less than 4 hours. My wife enjoyed the course as much as I did.

Hidden Gem
Got to Maui a week ago and have being looking at different courses to play while I am here. I talk to some of the locals and this course never came up once. I found it on line and am thankful I did. We had a fantastic round . Best bang for my buck so far. Great views and wonderful staff. This is a must play if in Maui.
Best value on Maui by far!
Played here when I cam before, and played her during current visit. If you want to play some great golf on a nicely laid out interesting course, but don't want to pay "resort" rates, this is the place to play. Great staff, wonderful course, and views. Weather can be a bit cooler and breezier here, but welcome relief if you want a break from hot sun. Enjoy!
This is our most liked course on Maui
We have played this course every time we come to Maui (5years now) and have loved playing it.
It is a great value for the money. Not cheap but not over priced. Well worth every cent.

good golf, great price
Up country away from the resorts and in fairly good shape, some tee boxes are a little scruffy. An excellent bargain and well worth the drive.
I love this course!
We had a great time on the course today. The pace of play was excellent and we moved right along. I love the views and how holes are laid out.
The restaurant unfortunately closes at 3:00 pm, so we were unable to enjoy a sandwich and the views after the round. Disappointed in that.
Otherwise the indoor and outdoor staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely will play here again.
Great course and excellent value!
Had a great day at this course. Course conditions were great, nice scenery, exceptional value. Firstte I've ever played the course and as soon as we were done we booked another round for 2 days later.
Good course
I've played a lot of different courses on Maui, but this was my first time playing Kahili. I will play it again on our next trip to Maui. Both my wife and I liked the course and thought it was fair. The pace of play was good and the course was in good condition. the greens were consistent and I liked that fact.

Hawaii value golf course
The course is easy to get too and easy to find.
I would play this again on my next Hawaii vacation trip.
Beautiful golf course.
We had a wonderful round of golf. Even though it was cart path only due to a large amount of rain the day before, it still was worth it. Next time I come to Maui, I will play it again.
Overall impression
Group in front of ours slow play & wouldn't let us play through which was frustrating since woman fell off cart came back with cart cuz left clubs on fairway & then ended up quitting on 14th

Play fee is qiotw reasonable and GPS guide is very useful for the first time player like us.
