About
Kahili Golf Course is positioned on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, offering picturesque views of the regal Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean.
The world-class layout is a popular stop for visiting and local, amateur and tournament golfers alike. The par-72, 6,554-yard course, constructed in 1991, was designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright.
Elevation changes are the norm at Kahili, with par 3s on the back side laying up and downhill to small greens. A lake and a dry creek bed are in play on the front side, making accuracy a necessity. And the par 5s are short enough to give long hitters a chance at birdies and eagles.
Kahili features beautiful practice facilities with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. Golfers can relax after a round at Kahili Restaurant, which offers good food at value prices. Also, for golfers with larger party needs, the Nahele Banquet Room is the ideal location for weddings, reunions, business meetings and seminars.

Super great course for the money!
Their rate is super good so I was not expecting the super good condition or beauty of the course. My husband and I were very surprised for what we saw when we arrived at the club. It was spacious and the course was beautiful. The rate is less than the half of Kaanapali's and the view is a LOT better. The green condition was true; as good as the resort courses and the ground was perfectly landscaped and maintained. The course had a veriety of design to meke a game more fun: blind spots, raised green, wide view and of course: trees. We were little mad about a few rude stuffs at the biggest resort course in Maui where I paid about 4 times more than this course. They were snotty and even didn't remove our bags from the cart as our starting time was probably the twilight time at noon. On the other hand as an opposit, the stuff at this course were rather very friendly; not SO agressive. The one just came to clean our clubs and put them on the rack while we were at the rest room. They even didn't come back for the tip.
The club house memu was rather simple and reasonable, but they had their local menu which made our visit a lot more fun and enjoyble!!!
We will surely go back to this course next year before playing at Kapalua courses!
