About
Tamarack Golf Club is a course that will test your shot-making skills yet it is still player-friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. Pete Dye designed the course with tight, sculpted fairways and undulating greens that come in a range of sizes. The layout offers plenty of challenges with water or sand coming into play on every hole. The golf course will test your accuracy but it is not as difficult as many other Dye designs. The third is one of the toughest holes. A severely undulating green protected by deep bunkers makes placement vitally important on this par 3. The 15th is one of the back nine's more challenging holes. It presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with a myriad of teeing options. Water lines the entire right side and the two-tiered green is flanked with bunkers to the front and right.

Okay
No range. Only a putting green. Greens rolled pretty well. Undulating Some tough reads. Stay below the hole. However, I’m pretty sure I fixed about 10 ball marks on each green. Bunkers sucked. It looks like they are either transitioning some to waste areas or just flat out neglecting them. Lay out can be challenging from the back tees. Doesn’t play overly long but demands some precise tee shots with a lot of run offs into water. Or tight OB. Played mid/late afternoon. On the first par 5, there were 5 groups on the hole. Stayed slow the rest of the way. No ranger in sight. I’d recommend but they need to clean up some of these things.

Slow Play but decent course
Tamarack is a nice course and it was in pretty good shape except tee boxes were a bit chewed up. The course, however, was backed up all day. We had to wait on most holes and started our round 15 minutes later than scheduled.

Don’t pay over $30
Terrible bunkers, everyone needed sand or had huge rocks in them. Greens were so so, tee boxes could tell don’t get moved often
Windy Day at Tamarack
The course was wet from recent rain, especially on the front. Shots on holes 1-7 just hit and stopped. The back was not as wet. Wind was a factor on many holes. with the wet conditions and wind, the course played long. Conditions were ok, not great but I've seen Tamarack in worse shape. Checkin was quick and easy. The carts are getting old, and the keys don't easily fit.
It cost me $0 to play with a GolfPass tee time credit and other Golfpass credits.

Good track!
Great local track and neighborhood! Sophie and Emily will take care of you at the bar and if you don’t keep the ball straight, the course will take care of you too. lol
A good layout being ruined by lack of maintenance
A rather challenging course with water hazard on every hole. Fairways and greens are in relatively good condition. However, the sand bunkers are atrocious. The cart path needs major repairs. If you are a senior, please watch for numerous potholes on the cart path. For this reason I may not recommend this course to a friend.

Overbooked
Think twice about booking this on a weekend or a holiday unless you want to play a 5 1/2 hour round. We were backed up at least two groups on every single tee. I believe this was more due to overbooking than slow play.

Played at Tamarack for the first time
The course is quite close to my house and it’s a nice course and we generally enjoyed our time there. The only problem was that our teatime was 5:32 AM and the pro shop only opened after 6 AM so a bunch of us with earlier tee times were waiting, and we all got bunched for the first, couple holes and then after that the pace of play as good.
There is also no ranger so there was lack of discipline on the part of certain golfers who getting impatient when the ahead of their teatime and there was nobody to monitor anything.
