Nice day to be playing
This course is well maintained Nice to be here went we visit Portland
My favorite
The reserve is no nice. North is links style, South is NA traditional. Both are pure. Variety is fun. You get what you pay for but still good value. As nice as Langdon or Pumpkin IMO but little cheaper. My favorite place to play in Portland area..
Fun course -slow pace of play
Course was in very good shape other than very soft spots and plugged balls in areas of the rough. Had not played in several years. Really enjoyed the layout. Course knowledge will be helpful for next time. Painfully slow round back 9 was over 2.5 hours.
Cart path only
Great day, excellent general conditions except for very soggy soil, didn’t have a plugging problem
Frosty delay Sunny finish
After about an 1-1/2hr frost delay our round got underway and had an enjoyable round that ended on nice sunny note. Pace was good, though there are still some pretty soggy spots in some areas of the course, the greens were rolling smooth and true. Overall nice day of golf.
Pleasant course
First time playing the course. The rough was a bit soggy, so walk was as easy as could be. For the first time player, there are a couple of unseen hazards to be avoided. Pins were in some awkward spots on the sides of slopes. Still I would play again if in the area as fun if playing the correct tees.
Rude starter
Right at our tee time the starter Paul put 2 young men in front of us. When I asked him why does he do that, he told me that is the way it is, if I don't like it call the office. I play this course regularly and never had anybody told me this is the way. If you give a low live some power, he will abuse it.
Perfect day.
Blue skies, no wind, great playing partners. Great course with just enough of trouble spots to make the game interesting. I wish I lived closer so I can play here more.
