About
Woodlands Golf Club, which sits only 30 minutes from St. Louis, is known for having some of the area's best greens. The putting surfaces roll true and hold well on the approach. This public course has garnered a local following thanks to not only its green conditions but also the affordable rates. With a diverse landscape and unique hole designs, it's definitely a shot-maker's layout. You'll probably use every club in your bag on this golf course. A long creek winds across the entire layout, coming into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides. Although Woodlands Golf Club is relatively short at just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, it feels much longer thanks to a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic.

Nice round
Never played here but found a good deal for a noon tee time. Course was fun, some challenging holes, elevation changes, and good dog legs. I'll be back for sure, course was in good condition compared to others

Good Greens, Nice Variety
The greens were in great shape and there is a decent amount of variety in types of holes. Some tighter, some wide open, water hazards, drastic elevation change. Overall a fun course and worth the money.

Has some interesting holes and locations. Miss the big red barn on one of the par 5 holes but still a good course.
SLOW SLOW SLOW day. I understand Saturdays at 10am are busy but waiting 25 minutes on every tee box is outrageous. Marshall nowhere to be found. Only knock on the course tho great condition nice greens.
Meh
Not too bad, not that great. Fairways very thin, still looks like March. Super slow play especially for a Tuesday at noon. Stuck behind a 3 some of hackers, with a 4 some of octogenarians in front of them. The one ranger I saw couldn’t be bothered, parked under a shade tree talking on his phone! But the price was great on Golfnow.

lost 6-8 balls, sometimes multiple on the same hole! challenging but can be overcome.
