Arlington Lakes Golf Club
About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Good value course
Short but enjoyable, pace a little slow but not terrible,
Staff extremely good
Will play again
Arlington lakes
Fun course, narrow fairways, some water on 1/3 of the holes.
Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed the challenge our course offers with its narrow fairways and water hazards.
Grounds crew
There wasn’t a single hole where a grounds crew wasn’t cutting, blowing, turning on sprinklers, or just sitting there running a motor.
Nice shorter course
Not a lot of length, but still interesting with many fun holes. If you want a "Championship" course, you might go elsewhere, but for a fun course in very nice shape this is a winner.
Greens in terrible shape
I play this course a few times a year, this time the the greens were in the worst shape I have seen them. Huge bare spots because of drought or fungus. Rest of course was dry too. Seems like little to no watering being done. Staff was very friendly, maybe too friendly. Pace of play was very slow with multiple groups waiting on almost every tee box, rangers did nothing to help.
We're truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with the course conditions and pace of play. Thank your for acknowledging our friendly staff and sharing your feedback; we are committed to making improvements.
Bummer
Greens are burned out due to pond work staff and golf now should warn customers
Really good course, please water greens
I’ve lived in area for 35 years. Arlington is always a good track. Last 2 years, the greens at both Arlington Lakes and Nichol Knoll, both run by Arlington Park District, have been turning brown, and have many large patches of dead areas. Not my job to know who is responsible, I’m asking for someone to change this trend. Both are great facilities, I’ve played them 100 times. Need to address this for all our golfers!
Perfect Day
Course was in nice shape although they are in the beginning stages of pond repairs and drainage. Greens are a bit slow and grainy. With that said, weather was perfect. Great day to play
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your understanding regarding the pond repairs and are working on improving the greens for an even better day of play in the future.
Fun round of golf!
I played this course many times and it never fails to make me happy to be out playing golf.
Coarse Flooded
Cart path only when I played due to the rain day before. Fairways were mushy and muddy.
Thank you for sharing your experience; we're glad you found our course enjoyable and our staff to your liking. We look forward to welcoming you back for another round.
