Bunkers need work
Bunkers are in pretty bad shape. The greens are pretty slow but may be due to the heat to keep them safe. The water jugs were all empty when we got to them as an 11:00 am tee time.
Maintenance
Bunkers need grooming, Golfers need to repair golf ball marks on green. Great Layout. Pace of play slow,,,,,never saw a marshall.
One of the best courses in a 10 mile radius
I live 10 mins down the road and play this course often. Good amenities, challenging course. Tee boxes, greens, and fairways in good condition. Their sand traps are abysmal. Worth a $40 round, but $50-$60 on weekends is a stretch.
Beautiful and a great test
I love the design of this course. Many challenges and traps. Unfortunately it looks like no one from their crea has raked any of the sandtraps all year. Seriously. If you hit into a trap you were almost guaranteed to be in someone else deep footprint. Obviously the goal is not to hit the traps, but it was literally impossible to hit out of many of the one's I saw. I hit into three and had to take drops out as they were unplayable.
Otherwise beautiful fairways and greens.
What has happened to this gem?
Played this course from the week it opened and it was always in my Top 5 Chicagoland courses. Played it Monday for the first time in 10 years. Bunkers were not bunkers. Filled with weeds, grass and no sand. Must have been months or a year since they were touched. SAD was the only word to use. I have not seen such a great course in such horrific condition in years. Too many other great Chicago courses - not sure they will survive if this is the product they are going to have.
Short course but excellent condition
Course was more than gettable because it's super short. The greens were perfect and rolled true. The traps could use a little bit of work but I was lucky enough to stay out of 'em pretty much all day. Course layout is excellent. As long as you don't consistently hit the ball to the right you can score well. If you do slice it, bring extra balls.

Played this course a handful of times. Great layout. Great condition. Well worth it.

Always fun to play. Really good layout and in good condition.
Fair condition but needs maintenance
Golfing in the spring is always hit or miss but having played here several times I was disappointed the traps are unplayable and have not since last summer. They could at a minimum run the rake machine thru it. The greens were slow and patchy like they were in the fall, hopefully they fill back in and recover from whatever fungus hit them last year.
