About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Range grass cut like a country club range
Greens are in fantastic shape and roll like a country club
Fairways are in great shape and glad they opened up some fairways with tree removal.

Must Play
Have not played in a few years. Felt like I was putting at a country club. Greens had to be rolling 12+. Fairways well above average. Big driving range. Very well managed

Fast greens and high rough
This course provides a nice variety of holes , both distance and style. Conditions were good and high rough and fast greens were challenging.

Beautiful course, unfriendly setup.
If you enjoy 3/4 putting every green, this course is for you. Really want to love this course, but the greens don't allow you to have enjoyable day. Don't try and hide the condition of the greens by making them impossible to putt on.

Greens
Greens were super fast…. Not used to that so I had a terrible time 😜 and a horrible score.

The sand bunkers are terrible. Not enough sand. Some of them were like hitting off a cart path. Also, there were no ball washers out or benches.

Course conditions
I like the layout and the contours of the golf course
I have played it several times. Inwas disappointed in the condition of the course. Tons of dandelions and many bare spots on fairways. Just needs a littlenTLC

Good layout, Excellent Condition
Fun and challenging course. Greens are fantastic and fairways are above average. Finished in under 4 hours
and there was no ranger just a starter. Staff, including maintenance crew were very friendly.. Bunkers are just okay but overall playability is great. Highly recommend this track.

Great course for all skills
Bartlett Hills is a great course tucked away in the suburbs. It has a great layout and holes that range from being on the easier side to requiring more complex shots. Great place for when your game is A+ to go low!
Greens are usually in excellent condition, although sometimes with heavy play the ballmarks aren't repaired by others.
Grounds crew keeps this place in such great shape, hats off to them.
