About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Great condition
Course was challenging and in great condition. Fairways were nice and rough was just that. Rough. Greens are very challenging too.

Nice Course
For a Friday afternoon pace of play was slow. Waited at each hole. This was the only issue. Greens were running fast which is nice to see

Course layout
Up and down hills so challenging to figure out yards. I like ed course.

Meh...
Greens freshly aerated no warning. Tons of sand that made it frustrating. The turn was closed way earlier than it should be. Just a public course...1 ea.

Nice course
Geeens quick for being heavily sanded. Many holes on slopes which adds to challenge. Only drawback is many tee boxes are heavily worn and dried out, making teeing a challenge at times. Will be back though.

a good day for golf
except for the slow sandy greens., the course was in good to very good condition.

Fun Round
The weather was perfect so no matter what, you had to enjoy yourself. The pace of play was slower than normal because there was one foursome that backed everyone up. the grreens had been recently aeorated so they were not as good as they normally are.
