About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Don’t accidentally leave anything in your cart
What was a beautiful day of golf turned into disappointment in an employee’s decision to keep what wasn’t theirs to keep. If you play here, double check your cart before turning it in at the cart barn, because if you leave anything of value, you’ll never see it again. We accidentally left our range finder, thank goodness it wasn’t a cell phone!
Thank you for playing! We are glad you enjoyed the course. However we do not appreciate the accusations of dishonesty with your lost equipment. In fact, we currently are in possession of 6 lost rangefinders in our lost and found that are unclaimed. We also accumulate many other items such as speakers as well. At the end of the day it is the player that is responsible for their own items. Rest assured we do everything we can to get lost valuable back into the hands they belong in.

Great course to play . Good for the intermediate golfer .Some ruff greens that are hard to read . Nice staff .Will play again .

Fun Layout
Played in the spring and again on Sunday. Course in great shape especially the fairways and greens. Bunkers had sand in them, in past usually not much. Enjoy every time I play at Bartlett

Terrible staff
Teed off at 6:20a on a Saturday hoping to not be sitting behind slow play. We waited on every shot until the 9th hole. Group in front of us had 3 carts and still was almost 3 holes behind the group in front of them.
At the turn I asked the starter (since none were roaming the course) to have them speed up, and he said they’re regulars and to deal with it. I was not happy and called the pro shop and the pro came out and drove to the group in front. Pace was fine after that, but never came to say sorry or anything. Not friendly and I was upset being the 4th tee time off that day.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. FEW THINGS
I THOUGHT THRE COURSE WAS DRY ENOUGH AND DID NOT NEED TO BE CART PATH ONLY. NOT SURE WHO HANDELS THE WATER BUCKET FOR TOWELS BUT FOR THE PRICE WE PAID (A)IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LOOKED AT BECUASE WATER WAS VERY DIRTY AND (B) AT LEAST ON THE 1ST HOLE THERE WAS VERY LITTLE IN IT. BAD JOB FOR WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE. ALSO CARTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER I SHOULD NOT HAE TO GET INTO A CART WITH GARBAGE STILL IN

Great way to spend the day
This was my first visit. I chose this course because it is close to home an is reasonably priced. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the course is in excellent condition. The greens are very well maintained as are the fairways. The staff members were friendly and informative. I am sure I will be playing here often this summer.

It’s gone way downhill. Don’t bother for the money.
Unfair pin placements. Chewed up tee boxes and greens. Unfriendly staff. $70 on the weekend to ride? Pass. Many better courses for the same or less money close by.

Cut the grass
Totally get lots of rain but played other courses and not near as bad. It was beyond dry out there.
We all lost over 6 balls and not because of bad shots. If 5 yards off the fairways ball was gone.
Still love the cosuse.

This course has fun greens
Fun routing. Lots of trees so must hit fairway. Greens are challenging

Fun layout, meh everything else.
First I will never forget how rude the guy in the pro shop was. It took all of my patience not to raise my voice like the man-child I was dealing with.
The course itself has a fun layout, and good elevation for the area. The little driving range near hole one is a nice touch.
Carts are nothing special.
Weekend rates are over-priced for what you get, especially composting it to other courses in the area.
I wouldn't make plans to play this course, but wouldn't turn it down if they had a good twilight rate
