About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Its tough
Good looking course and a lot of challenges. I'd recommend beginners, like me, to stay away. Some holes it's difficult to find markers and there are no ball washers on any of the holes which would have been useful after the traps were muddy. Staff was friendly.if you are average to above average golfer you'll like this course.

Hidden gem.
Well kept fairways, greens, and sand traps that played like sand traps instead of concrete. The only down fall is there are no comfort stations, or at least none that I noticed on the front or back 9. Staff was friendly, and so were the regulars that I got paired up with as a single golfer. Even got invited by them to join them for their weekly tee time. I think I'll be taking them up on that offer some time soon. Over all great time!

Great layout

Don’t accidentally leave anything in your cart
What was a beautiful day of golf turned into disappointment in an employee’s decision to keep what wasn’t theirs to keep. If you play here, double check your cart before turning it in at the cart barn, because if you leave anything of value, you’ll never see it again. We accidentally left our range finder, thank goodness it wasn’t a cell phone!
Thank you for playing! We are glad you enjoyed the course. However we do not appreciate the accusations of dishonesty with your lost equipment. In fact, we currently are in possession of 6 lost rangefinders in our lost and found that are unclaimed. We also accumulate many other items such as speakers as well. At the end of the day it is the player that is responsible for their own items. Rest assured we do everything we can to get lost valuable back into the hands they belong in.
