About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Nice course
Excellent pace of play, group finished in 3.5hr. Teeboxes fairways and greens in great condition. Several challenging holes make it more enjoyable. Great staff and clean carts a plus.

Read Phase 4 Guidelines
These guys think they can take a pass on phase 4 guidelines. No masks in clubhouse, pairing up non household people on carts with no controls for vax or non vaxxed people. On top of this, course maintenance in non fairway is worst I have ever seen. Not going back as their pricing is overpriced for what they offer. Way more options in their area that care about their customers instead of maxing their dollars.

Favorite course...except...
I consider Bartlett Hills as one of my top two courses to play. However, the condition of the bunkers are not good....avoid at all cost! Usually, when you think of playing out of sand, you hit the ball an inch or two behind to allow fluffy sand to carry your shot. The sand is rock hard and you have to play it like you are playing on gravel or a fairway bunker and clip it clean. Will the management be considering adding loose sand to make it more appropriate to other courses?

Fantastic Greens
Can’t find better greens in all Chicagoland. Greens are true to any putt line. These greens are as good as some PGA courses I’ve played on. If you miss putts it is not any greens issue and I missed a few because of my pace to the cups.

Hidden Gem in Bartlett
Bartlett Hills is a fantastic find in suburban Bartlett. Though a bit out of the way, this wonderful course packs a tremendous punch, challenging golfers of all skill levels with high-caliber shot making opportunities, undulating (and not easily read) greens, and great all-around conditions at a very fair fee. The clubhouse and staff are great too, the clubhouse having a veranda overlooking the Par-3 18th hole. This is a great course to host a 4-some with friends, or a larger event..
