Bartlett Hills Golf Club

I’ve been playing here since I was on the golf team in high school. The rates have gotten so astronomical that you can now play Arrowhead in Wheaton for a similar rate on a weekend afternoon. The golfnow price is different from the course pro shop. The course is in fair condition, but you don’t get what you pay for. It’s a shame because it used to have reasonable rates, but I can’t ever recommend this place anymore. I have so many good memories here, but I’m probably not coming back for awhile.

Staff was friendly, range was decent. Only played for the hot deal. Course was super bumpy with penalizing rough. Round took 4.5 hours had to wait on multiple groups. Greens were tricky to read many breaks right at the end.

Must play the tips for the most interesting angles and experiences 🙌🏼

It’s been almost 2 years since I’ve been out here. Greens are still very good. They are about the 3rd quickest I’ve played all year. Fairways were in nice shape also. Some of the bunkers were under construction and I noticed a couple of others were very muddy. Others were just fine. Staff is always great here. Hopefully I get back quicker next time.

Greens are very fun. A bit surprised by the speed for a park district run golf course. Course was very fun. Better stay below the hole and when chipping, greens are very hard. Allow for some runout cause it will not stop right away. Hot dog at the turn was very good.

It was no reason.for the rangers to continue to request that we speed up our play (4) times when the group behind us were (2) holes behind us 80% of the time we played

The group ahead of us were slow and we didn’t want to hit into them on (3) holes of the course

One ranger spoke in depth to my wife which was very uncomfortable while my son and I didn’t interfere because it could had escalated and gotten heated.

Restricted area mapping needs work. Too much extraneous add clutter on interface, crowding out distance to hole data and a very annoying sensitive area map forcing a cart reverse back out to reset the GPS. It went off ONthe cart path adjacent to hole 5, Our cart NEVER left the path between tee and greenside. Ended having to reverse the cart all the way to the next teee box. Please fix it.

Disappointed that when it was almost 100 degrees the halfway house was closed and I saw no beverage cart. Besides for that we enjoyed our round. Only chance to buy drinks was when we had to go into the bar and grill

Enjoyed the course - layout is fun and it’s in good shape. I played on a Sunday morning and it took 5 hours to complete the round. One and sometimes two groups on almost every tee. Should get better pace of play from a $75 round.

After the recent addition of new sand and bunkers, its just awesome. The front 9 has a tremendous series of par 4’s. The topography on the back 9, starting on hole 12, differentiates this track from others in the Chicagoland area.

Cart stalled on the cart path (Yes it did) sayingI was in restricted area. It needs to be recalibrated as I never left the path between tee to green on hole 5. The overall quality of the cart GPS os poor with too many extraneous ads and other distractions. Yours is the worst of all courses in the area.

There is no ball cleaner at all holes. They need to setup ball cleaner...

I was surprised the course was nice. $53 now a days is like a $30 course a few years ago so expectations were low. I enjoyed everything about this course. Very fair and fun

Golf course was in outstanding shape. I was caught off guard my the pace of the greens, they are fast. Fairways well maintained and really nice bunkers. Food was good and we ate on the patio watching groups finish on a par 3!! We will be back. Great place!
