Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Okay for this time of year
Was in decent shape for this time of year. Pace was rather slow probably due to so many walkers. Carts are $21/pp which is way too high.
for winter golf play here
January in Chicago area is difficult . But with no snow on the ground Barlett Hills was the place to be . Course was great for the winter , greens where sanded but ran true . Only one green still had snow on it , so it was an amazing time .
Great Track
Excellent, quality, challenging track. Elevated tees. Fast greens. Good value for the money.
Hidden
this golf course truly is a hidden gem. The standout feature, however, are the greens—exceptionally fast and true, they provide a stimulating challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Whether you're navigating tricky slopes or lining up for a birdie, you'll appreciate the precision required. Overall, this course offers a unique experience that’s well worth exploring for anyone looking to enjoy both beauty and a test of skill.
great track - minus the greens
Great laout, challenging but fair. That being said the greens are outrageously fast with crazy slopes and knobs. When you put both factors together it makes putting xtremely difficult. Unfortunately they are so difficult it takes away from the overall experience.
Good layout but concrete greens
Golf course has a nice setup and a friendly staff. The cart girl was great and a decently long course. The greens were unbelievably fast. Like way too fast. The shy high shots wouldn’t even land a dent on them.
Rate Course
The course was fun to play and you felt like you were in the forest.
