Good Time
Arrived early and checked in, given a cart and went to the coursd. Was only player on 1st tee. Continued at a good pace. I did catch up to a 3 some and they let me play through. Made the turn well ahead of schedule. Finished round with a 66 which is 7 under. Great day with great round. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Fun course

Avoid at all costs
This is hands down the worst course I’ve ever played. You cannot decipher the difference between the tee box, fairway, or rough. There is hardly sand in bunkers, otherwise they’re filled with pebbles and rocks. Greens are either completely dried out and slick as ice, or the grass is too long that the speed is so slow.
The only saving grace would be holes 15-17, which look like an actual golf course. It literally looks like an entirely different staff maintains these three holes. The fairway is cut nicely to where you can have a tight lie, the greens are receptive, and they are genuinely enjoyable to play on.
For $52 to play, this course is not NEARLY worth that, so I would avoid this cours at all costs.

It was easy to book on Golfnow. The staff at the golf course was friendly. The course was fun to golf.

Where's the Rangers?
Course condition was poor. Really bad tee boxes (No grass) Greens had bad spots that were dried out.(Not watering enough) Fairway and rough grass was long. No Rangers on the course, only seen near the clubhouse. Back nine pace of play was too slow.

Poor course maintenance.
Fairways like crabgrass, greens dried up with bare spots, tees not mowed!

Horrible
Worst course I’ve ever played- fairways and tee boxes are like backyard quality- don’t even bother here- better off playing mini putt

Worst Course in Chicago Suburbs
The course seems like it is maintained once a month, with only the front 9 getting a bulk of the maintenance, the back 9 is crazy with hole 12 elevating up a ski hill, just not a good course overall. I played this course 10+ times because it is close to my home, but would NOT recommend playing here for the price they offer. 2/10

COURSE IN GOOD SHAPE OVERALL
We had seen some recent reviews complaining course was terrible. NOT the case. There were a few bare spots on greens and tee boxes but not bad really and only saw 1 sand trap with weeds and it was not in play anyway.
Guy must have had a lousy round and was upset.
Course was mostly in Great shape, lush fairways and rough (maybe too high) a few marks on greens but not unlike many courses at this time of year.
We enjoyed, staff was great and we'd definitely return
Great rate for seniors riding at $37
Pace of play was excellent at 9am

REGULAR MUNI
The course is not in the best shape, some bunkers are in dire need of sand some of them had weeds growing in them, tee boxes need to be mowed and lastly some greens had dried spots on them. In fairness if you pay under $25 with a cart you got yourself a good deal. Bottom line......you get for what you pay for.. Yes, I would play it again occasionally to work on my game.

Nice bang for buck
Fairways are a little furry and greens a little chewed up, but some nice elevation changes and short par 4s make it a place to score well

Villa Olivia
Couple we were paired with just played 9 holes. We continued as twosome. On twelveth hole and group of 6 were playing together. I called proshop and ranger came and group split into two threesomes. On 13th tee ranger told us to go around the groups and then come back and play the 13th hole. We went around the groups and caught up to a very slow foursome for the last 3 holes. We went back to 13, but course was crowded so we did not jump in front of anybody. So we did not get to play all the holes. Greens were very nice, but fairways were very dry. Normally fun course to play. After the round one of the 6 players came and apologized and said the group hadn't see each other for awhile. I said whatever.
