Horrible course maintenance!
22% (2 of 9) greens were completely flooded due to sprinklers and hoses actively watering the greens WHILE PEOPLE WERE PLAYING. I had a 7am tee time and the greens were still being serviced! Had to skip putting entirely on 22% of the greens.
Course layout is BORING and horrible. Almost no elevation or unique features in the fairways. It’s essentially just one giant lawn with an occasional sand trap randomly scattered.
Incredible staff saves the experience
The staff here are incredible, however the course is poor. Tee boxes are so bad. Layout is boring. Conditions were terrible. Feels like I was playing in a public park. It’s a shame because there is potential here but clearly the city money is funneled more to the Sydney Marovitz and Jackson Park.
Despite this, the staff were incredibly friendly and good people. Would play it again just for their friendliness but wow I wish the city maintained this course better.
You get what you pay for
Title says it all. It’s cheap so you get what you pay for but the tee boxes are in rough shape.
Great place to work on your game
Basic 9 hole course with wide open fairways. Easy to get to from the city when traffic is low. Good value for its location. Conditions are average and design is bland, but it’s a great place to learn and improve your game.
Wide open and great walking course
Excellent space in the middle of the west side, affordable and friendly staff. One of the best maintained courses for the CPD

Value without Any Frills
This is a perfect place to practice the game in a very forgiving setting -- most people will encourage you to play a couple balls, and rate of play is never really a concern because it's hardly ever crowded and golfers will jump around to get a few holes in during whatever time they have - this is a haven for the beginning of people's golf journeys and for those who just want to play and not deal with stuffiness or attitude or handicap adjustments
