Very nice course
Nice layout and length in very good condition. Pace on this Saturday was slow, likely due to the long par 3 on I think 5. But I am retired so no problem.

Chicago Golf
Chicago Public golf courses are being well taken care of Marquette being one of the best courses in the city within driving distance of anywhere in the city. The layout is very forgiving for beginners and intermediate golf players. It’s also a good place to learn how to play if you’re a beginner, I would recommend to look at the later teetimes at the day which I have found that the course is very open during those hours and my book is a 8 out of 10.

Not enough push carts and golf carts
Need to wait for push carts and golf carts if you don't take your own push cart. Wait is over an hour for both of you golf on a busy day. Call before to know if folks are waiting.

Soaking wet
Decent course but today the conditions were really bad from all the rain we have been having. . Carts should not have been allowed on the course. There was a lot of damage left by carts. I will most certainly keep this experience in my mind the next time I think of Marquette park.
