Golfer Reviews
City Views
Harborside is a great course that is close to downtown Chicago. It is a challenging layout that is well maintained. We got a great deal through Golfnow and paid about half price. Standard price of a round is around $100. If it wasn't so expensive, I would play the course much more because it is a real pleasure.
Enjoying Harborside More
I've come around to enjoying my rounds at Harborside - I'm not sure if the course is more fair or I have improved, but the last few times I've played Port it has been a fun and challenging round.
Nice Layout
Two very nice 18 hole courses. Very friendly staff and a great clubhouse.
Cart Paths Are Trash
I love this course but rarely play here in summer due to the $120 green fee combined with the terrible conditions of the cart paths. Golfers have been complaining for years and the conditions of the cart path really take away from the overall experience at this great course. It’s a shame that the owners only seem care about profit.
Harborside Port Course
Fall golf in Chicago is tough but what I like about Harborside is there are not a lot of leaves all over the ground covering up your ball in fairways or fringe.
Nice course
This place is very nice. Bob the starter is a gem! I just wish it wasn’t so expensive to play.
The course is maintained well, EXCEPT for the cart paths. I would think they would be in better shape in comparative to the course.
