Jackson Park Golf Club

Fairly well maintained city course. Bunker play leaves something to be desired.

This is a historic city course with amazing views of Lake Michigan and the Jackson Park marina area. . Very well maintained and friendly staff. Pace of play is more relaxed than most courses, which is my preference since I’m still working on my game.

Always a good time! The staff is the best!! The course was in really great shape! We will be back soon!!

Overall course was in decent shape this early in the year. Greens need some work, most of the divots from last year were not fixed and there was quite a bit of debris on the putting surface of each hole. Conditions should improve as golf season gets underway

Fun course to play and pretty easy to score well. Only 5500 yds from the blue tees so get some very short par 4’s. Can drive the greens on some. There was a 200 yd par 3 and 595 yd par 5 so some longer holes too. Proximity to down town Chicago is its biggest draw. Course is pretty well kept for being a muni course.

It’s fenced off but you are in the middle of a neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. We were fortunate enough to get to witness a high speed chase and a couple of crack deals being made. While entertaining, it can be a bit distracting, primarily on holes 2-5. After that you don’t really see/hear much from the streets.
