About
Fox Run Golf Links opened in 1984 but over the past two years the course underwent a major renovation that made the layout both more challenging for serious players but also more forgiving for the recreational golfer. The multi-million-dollar renovation included enhancements to the hole layouts, redesigning the bunkers, installing a new irrigation system, and creating new practice and chipping areas. Water comes into play often throughout the golf course and you'll find elevation changes on nearly every green. The water holes will be especially tough if you have a tendency to slice the ball. Thanks to the varied layout, which includes some holes that are wide open and others that are more target-style golf, you will get the opportunity to work on different types of shots. Fox Run Golf Links is a challenging but fair test that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Course getting better
Course has improved over the past couple of years. The greens and fairways in particular were better this time then I remembered. Greens were fairly fast and tees and fairways were mostly in good condition. Pace of play seemed a little slow as we were on carts and the groups ahead were walking. New carts were nice except the GPS was like a little TV on the dash. When tall drinks were in the holders it covered up much of the screen. Starter was personable but inside bar and counter was pretty slow. Prices inside were about on par with other courses in the area.
Stay below the hole
Unexpectedly faster greens than usual. I’ve played here many times in the past. The greens have never been as fast as they were today. Hope they keep the greens like this all the time from now on.

Pace of play wasn't great on a sunday morning but not unusually bad. I drove out a bit for this and conditions didn't dissappoint. They maintain it pretty well conditions were great. Layout was also fun as a links course.
