About
Fox Run Golf Links opened in 1984 but over the past two years the course underwent a major renovation that made the layout both more challenging for serious players but also more forgiving for the recreational golfer. The multi-million-dollar renovation included enhancements to the hole layouts, redesigning the bunkers, installing a new irrigation system, and creating new practice and chipping areas. Water comes into play often throughout the golf course and you'll find elevation changes on nearly every green. The water holes will be especially tough if you have a tendency to slice the ball. Thanks to the varied layout, which includes some holes that are wide open and others that are more target-style golf, you will get the opportunity to work on different types of shots. Fox Run Golf Links is a challenging but fair test that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Best Greens Ive Played this year
Always immaculate conditions. Superintendent and his staff do a killer job. Greens were rolling like a country club and tee boxes were immaculate and like carpet. Reasonable rates and cordial staff. A great muni
Challenging Course with Good Views
This course presented a good challenge and was in great shape. The course features unique hole designs, lots of water and doglegs and other hazards. Enjoyed playing this course and I’m likely to go back.
Fairways, sand traps,and greens well kept for a public course. Nice new clubhouse. Challenging but not impossible layout.
Incompetent staff
Nice course with great amenities, however the staff aren’t that smart. They completely messed up our booking, was completely their fault and they kept arguing with one another on how the booking should’ve been entered in the system in front of my party, rather than get us on the course and figure it out on their own time. They caused us to miss our tee time and got stuck behind a group who was dragging along the entire round.
Solid Layout
Course is well maintained and a decent layout with a great clubhouse facility. No range at the course, but one close. Pace of play was good and they actually scheduled a gap to not overload.
Fun layout
Fox Run was is excellent shape. Fun, interesting holes. Definitely challenging, but not overwhelming.
Well groomed and maintained
Excellent junior and senior course based on its length but this course excels as a public course maintained and operated by the Elk Grove Park District.
Great Value!!!
Very nice course! Challenging yet forgiving. Awesome clubhouse with full bar and tasty menu! Got a hot deal for $35 but the normal fees seem worth it
