Fox Run Golf Links
About
Fox Run Golf Links opened in 1984 but over the past two years the course underwent a major renovation that made the layout both more challenging for serious players but also more forgiving for the recreational golfer. The multi-million-dollar renovation included enhancements to the hole layouts, redesigning the bunkers, installing a new irrigation system, and creating new practice and chipping areas. Water comes into play often throughout the golf course and you'll find elevation changes on nearly every green. The water holes will be especially tough if you have a tendency to slice the ball. Thanks to the varied layout, which includes some holes that are wide open and others that are more target-style golf, you will get the opportunity to work on different types of shots. Fox Run Golf Links is a challenging but fair test that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Short but challenging course for any golfer.
Bring extra balls. Lots of water. Course was in great shape after a lot of rain. Good challenge for average golfer.
Go to course
This is a great go to course. In wonderful condition and a great layout. One day I'll play home 10 well... Very reasonable price and super value. Greens are in excellent condition as are the fairways. Always a treat to play this course. Staff is super friendly and pace was 3 hours 10 minutes. Great spot to have a beer afterwards. Highly recommend this course.
Not Impressed
1st time playing. Not impressed. Cant tell the difference between the rough & fairway. All of it is long grass. Alot of dead grass.
Fox run
Course was in very good shape except some greens were a little bumpy. One of the rangers was pretty annoying--he came to our group 3 times on front nine and not to tell us anything was wrong, but just to ask random questions. We didn't see the cart girl all day even though the starter said she would be out.
Overall the experience was pretty good, but it has potential to be great with a couple improvements.
This course is still growing in from changes made recently
No real problems with the course, how ever when I booked and tried to send emails to the other players, none of them went through. This is the third time this has happened. Why?
Wide open in Fall
No one on the course, some drainage issues and wet areas due to low lying terrain, greens were in good shape but a bit pock-marked as those ahead of me generally had not repaired their ball marks, no issues with leaves hiding your ball which is always a plus at this time of year.
well mainteined
I love playing this course. It offer challenging holes and easy ones. It is extremely well maintained and fast. Will definitely play here again
nice and cozy course.
a few hard holes and pretty cozy comfoetable course. Now open full 18 holes. Not bad at all.
Front nine is a great warm-up for the shot-making required on the back
Great course for a fall 18. Payed $30 and got around in under 4 hrs. Course is good for the everyman looking to get out and swing the sticks on a weekend afternoon. While we did wait on some holes, most groups let us play through if we wanted, which was great. Staff is friendly and grounds are well-kept (esp. this late in the year.) Carts have GPS which is HUGE for some of the value courses you play.
Great fun little course. Played for a fun day even though aerated, but what a value.
Has some challenging holes mixed in with only a hanndful of easy par fours. The value was excellent through GolfNow even though it was aerated. The rest of the course was in great shape. I really think that it's 4 or 5 nicely designed holes that bring you back.
The bar was set up nice to make this a gathering spot for after a round. Ed Horak
Good Value
Great rate for early afternoon. Pace of play was a little slow, but didn't effect the round too much. Will go back again.
The course has some nice features.
The back nine will challenge you with all of the water.
Some of the fairways are a little close together.
Much better than reputation; exceeded expectations!
I loved that the rangers got involved and kept everyone moving as noted by sign on first tee. Teeboxes were dry and hard, but course maintenance was above average. Staff was well-informed and courteous. Sand traps actually had sand in them which has not been the case at many other local courses this year. Not the best course in the area but a good value and very fair use of resources and a better than average value.
Beautiful fairways
Beautiful course with a little more water than I like. Overall a great experience.
A nice course with plenty of hazards to grab your attention.
My impression of a golf course relies first and foremost on the quality of its greens. The greens of Fox Run were in excellent condition. So I was very satisfied with the greens. However, I can't say the same thing for the fairways. The fairways were in desperate need of cutting.
Many of the holes require straight shooting. What I mean by that is there is not a lot of room for bailing out on these holes. So either hit a good shot or face the consequences. I personally like that on a golf course.
The pace of play was very slow. I've encountered this a number of times when playing Fox Run. So if you're a fast player (which I am), expect to play at a slower pace than you're used to. I tolerated this because I received a great deal on GolfNow. And besides I like the golf course.
great course!
Never played this course before the renovations, so i have nothing to compare it too... but we thought this was a good course!
fox run
took 3hrs to play 9 holes.... if you play this course do so during the week or early on weekends. Pace of play very slow
Sunday GOlf
there's not any rangers available and the balls fly all over with beginners. We've all been there, but they need to yell FORE!
Course was in great shape and the greens were wonderful.
I was happy with the upkeep of the course and the entities of the golf course were great. On the other hand, the staff wasn't very friendly. I mean no one... They had a starter at on of the par 3 to make sure to wave the next group when we landed on the green but we had a group in front of us that were very slow. I did mention it to the starter and he said he would look into it. I believe he never did.
Decent course, fairways need attention
Greens were nice, some fun holes. GPS units were in carts (nice surprise).
Fairways need a lot of work. The fairway cut is anywhere from 1 - 3 inches (basically the first cut of rough, some spots even worse).
