About
Fox Run Golf Links opened in 1984 but over the past two years the course underwent a major renovation that made the layout both more challenging for serious players but also more forgiving for the recreational golfer. The multi-million-dollar renovation included enhancements to the hole layouts, redesigning the bunkers, installing a new irrigation system, and creating new practice and chipping areas. Water comes into play often throughout the golf course and you'll find elevation changes on nearly every green. The water holes will be especially tough if you have a tendency to slice the ball. Thanks to the varied layout, which includes some holes that are wide open and others that are more target-style golf, you will get the opportunity to work on different types of shots. Fox Run Golf Links is a challenging but fair test that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Fast Pace Course
The course was very nice and challenging. My only complaint is that the Golf Marshalls are all over you to keep up, go faster and seems like they want you done fast even though we where held up by the group in front of us on every hole which put us behind. We had to skip a hole to finish on time. They claim that they had a Golf outing which is why they pressured us but other reviews say the same thing about the Marshall being all over you. I probably won't be going back to this course, I'm looking to have fun and relax not to be rushed....
Not Worth The Money
$63 per round on weekends for a non resident is absolutely ridiculous for this course and nowhere near worth it. The greens were decent but not great and there were quite a large number of dirt patches throughout the course on fairways just left to be. The course is plain and with the supposed $2 million in renovations they did over the last 2 years I see almost the same exact course as it was with the addition of 3 grass mounds and the elimination of some trees. I wouldn't pay any more than $40ish to play here. Plenty of other courses for cheaper that are nicer.
Best value
Loved the course. Greens were in great shape..fun layout and the price was very good. I was impressed and will be back!
Overall a very good experience
Haven't golfed here in a few years. The course seems to be the same, great shape with somewhat difficult holes. Front 9 is easier than the back 9. Will play here again.
The course has been imporved
Fairway and green condition was excellent and also staff were friendly kindness. my impression on overall rounding was perfect with nice weather.

Good value. Nice staff. Great pace of play. The money out into the course over the past 2 years definitely showed.

The course and greens are in great shape. The rangers keep the pace going. Can't wait to play Fox Run again.
Good Course
This is a great course full of par 4 and 5s. The fairways are wide, the people are nice, and the grounds look nice. We had a horrible rain recently that you could tell damaged the grounds a bit but they were already being repaired. The only thing is that the burger is was served was very pink in the middle and I couldn't eat it. Stick to more basic foods like hot dogs or sandwiches. I will be back here again as I really liked it. The only other item is that my wife golfed for the first time and needed rental clubs. We don't have high expectations of rentals but I believe that should at least be cleaned. Everything else was great
Things have changes since their renovation
The quality of this course has become terrible over the past two years. The fairways are considered to be like cow pasture. The round took 5 hours to complete. There were three Rangers on the course who did nothing to speed up play. This fairways were cut 1 inch. The greens were probably the only thing that were good on this course.
Great Greens
I am a novice golfer. This course was really nice. Some tricky part 3's thrown in to make It more interesting. Great green conditions and an all around good time.
Straight hitters only
I've played this course a number of times, and each time I tell myself no more. There are a number of holes, especially on the back nine, that are are very penal on errant shots with absolutely no bailout available. Once you get going bad, it will snowball here. It's a great course for the very straight hitter. Anyone else, get ready to be frustrated. Holes 4, 10, 13, 16 and 18 are diabolical and unforgiving. 11 and 14 aren't much better. A new bunker short and right of green on 18 turned that hole into ridiculous.
This year's Fox Run round
Fox Run has made some improvements to the course & clubhouse. Staff was friendly. Course was in pretty good shape, greens running pretty quick. Like most places, players don't repair ball marks on greens & course should send out staff at the end of the day. Fun day though.

Short but challenging course for any golfer.
Bring extra balls. Lots of water. Course was in great shape after a lot of rain. Good challenge for average golfer.
Go to course
This is a great go to course. In wonderful condition and a great layout. One day I'll play home 10 well... Very reasonable price and super value. Greens are in excellent condition as are the fairways. Always a treat to play this course. Staff is super friendly and pace was 3 hours 10 minutes. Great spot to have a beer afterwards. Highly recommend this course.
Not Impressed
1st time playing. Not impressed. Cant tell the difference between the rough & fairway. All of it is long grass. Alot of dead grass.
Fox run
Course was in very good shape except some greens were a little bumpy. One of the rangers was pretty annoying--he came to our group 3 times on front nine and not to tell us anything was wrong, but just to ask random questions. We didn't see the cart girl all day even though the starter said she would be out.
Overall the experience was pretty good, but it has potential to be great with a couple improvements.
