South at Hickory Hills Country Club

Pros: Good layout. Elevated tees are nice. Fun short par 4s.

Cons: Tee boxes need work. Drainage isn't good. Course can get sloppy. Pace of play can easily get to 5 hours.

Golf course said they notified GN, so they don't know why they let me book.

How do I get my refund, golf now?

I tried calling and got caught up in a circle of automated nonsense.

Booked a round

Course called and said they are closed from weather. We don't know why golf now let you book because we called them.

Tried to cancel but less than an hour from tee time so couldn't.

Called golfnow and can't get a real person on phone and you kept sending me in circles of no help.

Cmon man.

Where is my refund?????

No one playing this course is a professional… this is not a country club. The times NEED to be more spread out! Tee times separated by just 8 minutes is a joke. Nearly $60 play here and it was never worth it. You’re either waiting for every shot or getting rushed and there is no in between. Im a mid-low handicap and my pace of play is never an issue yet im being rushed on this course so they can push as many people through as quickly as they can to make as much money as they can. Its pathetic. Instead of ensuring a nice experience and making sure their customers are happy… once they have your money, they don't care. Very sad because this is a nice course with a nice layout but i never felt welcomed on the course from the first hole on. I wont be back till they change the times.

They let way too many people out too quickly. Caused course to be extremely over crowded. Waiting 15 min between each hole.

Player friendly layout with enough hazards to encourage a little thought but enough space to allow even 20+ handicappers to avoid big mistakes if they’re careful. Well maintained course and pleasant round!

The course continues to improve the conditions of the course. Keeps getting better.

Challenging course with lots of hills but didn’t care for the cart paths running through the fairways and pace of play was poor.

Loved the course! The greens are tricky but as a new player I had a lot of fun! Will definitely be coming back. Did get lost looking for Hole 10 though but was still a blast!
