Below average
An average golf course has tee boxes in good condition. Not at Calumet country club. I paid over $70 on a Saturday to play a course with aerated fairways and weed infested tee boxes. The "sand" bunkers are a joke. Minimal sand and may overtaken by weeds. I was not expecting any of this. It's been a couple of years since I played this course. There are a lot of choices in this area for golf. Sadly, this course will no longer be considered. It's not worth $70.

Calumet Country Club is a great layout and is challenging with a lot of trees, traps and tight fairways. the course has some very good par 4's that are very challenging.
The greens aren't the best, they were in much better shape a month ago, they were slower and not well kept with a ton of ball marks.
Calumet is a very good course that could use some TLC on the greens.
The pace of play is good and the staff is very accomodating.
They are very nice and professional in the Pro Shop and outdoor grilling area. the course is an excellent value.
Great memories
Great memories of this place but sad to see how it has gone downhill. The staff is doing the best they can with what they have. Overall course pretty good condition minus the 9th green and the tee boxes. Overall still fun course to play.
Old school fun
Wonderful course layout of a classic country club, she is a bit worse for wear in a few spots but still a solid round of golf. Will go again next chance I get.

I hope this course stays open and truly is a gem of the South suburbs of Chicago
Nice track for sale
Calumet CC has always been a nice track, but since it up for sale maintenance of the course and amenities are lacking. The people working there are friendly and accommodating but don’t expect a full service experience. All in all, it is still a great value. Get it before it’s gone.

Course conditions were average. Some tee boxes, greens and fairways were in bad shape.
Terrible condition, Terrible Price
Every tee box, most fairways, most greens are atrocious, fluffy, weeds, etc. Every single fairway bunker is not playable… it’s literal fescue, weeds throughout all of them. Lady’s tee are in the middle of the fairway. Poor sense of direction, range is non existent, $71 for this course is diabolical. Heard a guy ask one of the workers “how's the course?” And workers response was “it’s in good condition” 💀 Never even thinking about playing it again.
Made Us Walk
Golfed here a few days ago and they made us walk with no pull carts. The course was not wet at all and they said they put the carts away and didn’t have any pull carts. When I asked for a discount for having to walk since I payed for a cart originally, the girl at the pro shop told me there were no refunds. We talked with the group behind us and they said they called twice before the round to make sure carts were available and they said yes. Liars.
Terrible customer service
Due to rain .in the am 6 hrs later,We were told cart path only when we arrived they didn't have any carts available and said walking only but no hand carts they don't have any could not reach clubhouse only answering service they had no clue !
Greens are in excellent condition and very fast and fairways are nice as well! Course is in unbeatable for the pricing!
