Crowded and slow pace of play
I’ve played here a couple of times. The pace of play on the front 9 is slow— averaging about 2hr 45min each time I’ve played. Major back ups by hole 4 and hole 7 par 3s. I suspect the staff over books and start too many 9 hole games on the front 9. Otherwise course is very well maintained and the greens are interesting.

Slow play, no beverage cart
Pace of play was horrendous. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. There was no beverage cart. I called the pro shop to inquire about it and was on hold for 5 minutes, transferred 3 times to be told “yeah, she should be out there” and she never was.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
Ridiculous greens and pins
Well groomed course and most holes tee to green are good. The greens and pin placements were completely ridiculous. All
Pins tucked in a corner or places on a sliding ledge. Had 5 yard targets to get your ball to stay near the hole out you hit a good iron shot in.
This is a public course not the US open. Make if fun challenging but not impossible!!

Fun course
Second time playing course, had an enjoyable 9 holes but a little confused about start. Tee time arrives, no starter on back nine for organization and couldn’t locate second half of 4-some, which we believed hit on front 9 instead of back 9. Not a big deal, still enjoyed the outing with a nice bourbon at the clubhouse afterward. Will return.

Must play in Chicagoland
This place is an absolute gem. The conditioning rivals many of the private courses I’ve had the chance to play. The rough was lush, the fairways pristine and the greens were challenging. The has to be one of the best values in all of Chicagoland.
The tree lined course was fair but you can attack the challenging greens from the correct places. The greens are smaller than they appear because the bowls and ridges for you to be precise with your approaches.
I played the course for the first time in early May and it was in incredible condition. The fairways and greens were firm making it more of a fun challenge.

Not worth the money at all.
Waited 5 mins to tee off on almost every hole. Ranger drove around and didn’t do anything. Par 3’s were brutal.
Fairways were not great condition. Very patchy, especially around the green. Ground was hard.
Whoever designed the greens clearly hates golf. Tiers, plateaus and ramps more than I’ve ever seen, and it was like putting on the cart path. Not to mention pretty rough pin placements. If you have greens like that you need to water them, they were insanely dry.
Sand traps were interestingly placed / shaped but admittedly in good shape, freshly raked. Lots of random mounds and scattered throughout the course
Luckily the drink cart was present very often cause there was plenty of waiting going on for a mediocre experience. Will not be returning.

Cute/gimmicky course with beat up greens
Pace of play here is always horrendous. Gimmicky course. Almost annoying. If I didn’t wait every hole and every shot, maybe the course layout could have been something to adore. There are probably almost 100 ball marks on every green. The course is way overplayed. There’s a reason why I only play Mt Prospect once a year and live 6 blocks away.
