Short but challenging.
Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape.
Greens rolled true, but if you’re not on the correct tier you’re in trouble.

Special Treat
Wanted to arrange a course to coordinate with my son who was driving back from Wisconsin which was convenient for both of us. I had heard about how pleasant a track Mt Prospect was so I chose it. I was pleasantly surprised. We had great weather which added to the enjoyment of the day. The difficulty was playing the course for the first time and not knowing where to aim. I found a few unexpected traps in what I thought were good shots. Oh well, we had a great time on a great course. Great pace of play too, enjoy.

First-time rounds can definitely bring a few surprises—especially with our well-placed bunkers—but we’re happy to hear you both had a great time and enjoyed the pace of play. Greens
Played this course at least once a year since the renovation. My expectations for the green surfaces was fast and firm. They were both. The problem was so few ball marks being repaired. Some from that day but looks like a daily issue. I fixed at least 3 on every green. Including my own when I was fortunate enough to hit in regulation.
I play all over the Chicagoland area at courses of varying conditions and costs. Your greens were amongst the firmest and quickest. But also the least taken care of by the golfers.
I was impressed with how many young kids were taking advantage of the practice and driving range.
Wonderful
First time playing this course. A ton of fun. Conditions were excellent. Very tight course. Greeens were very fast and hard to read. A lot of ball marks unfixed on the greens. Overall very outstanding

Fun course.. but those greens...
Greens were simply goofy.. major elephants buried in most of them. Pin placements didn't matter. I thoroughly enjoyed tee to green though.

Not great
First time playing here and I had high hopes. Unfortunately my first impression should’ve been an omen for the rest of the day… pulled up to the first tee about 5 min prior to our tee time. There was a group in front of us who was running behind, half of them were there but others were missing. The starter comes up and asks what time our tee time was, I responded and for some reason got talked down to and scolded by this crabby older gentleman. He said we should not be up here crowding the group in front of us, I reminded him that the group in front us were the ones who were late, we were actually on time and had that group been on time we never would have even crossed paths with them to start the day. To which he responded well they’ve got a standing tee time, they’re here every week. Which I guess means you can be late and have no recourse. They were a group of 5 and we waited on them all day - no less. The 2 gentlemen we were paired up with were very friendly and more or less shrugged it off, which I can only assume means it’s common practice for the crabby old man starter to be rude to paying customers. The course itself has a nice layout, unfortunately this course was not in very good condition. The greens, on the par 3’s in particular were in brutal shape, they looked like minefields. Wish I would have played elsewhere and saved my $90. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Great design and challenging for all skills levels
I played with a local regular player and two-weekend golfers on Father's Day. We had different handicaps and skills, but we noticed that the course offered various challenges for everyone. It's a fun course to work on your course management and short gap. The practice facility and practice green are excellent amenities. It's a fantastic walking course, too.

Pace of play was very slow. Greens were bumpy. Value for the golf now deal was good
