RAINED OUT/ DID NOT PLAY - PLEASE HELP W/ REFUND!
My 2some completed 1 hole and then were rained out. We are seeking direction on how to get refunded or a raincheck. The pro mentioned because this was a "hot deal" the refund needs to come from GolfNow. The App does not allow to request cancelation due to weather on the day of play. PLEASE HELP so we can get a refund or credit back!

Northshore style course, big greens with multiple tiers
Nice course, and would come back to play again. Lots of mature trees, greens are large, with multiple tiers, and several risk/reward holes. Reasonable weekday green fees makes this a great course option.

Nice course..rough greens!
Course layout is great....a moderate amount of challenging holes. Unfortunately, the greens are in bad condition. I played earlier in the year and greens were fine.Full of divots and a few dry spots.
Overall I would still recommend the course as it is somewhat challenging.

This is a really well-designed course. It is objectively short but the layout is challenging for a par 70. I used just about every club in my bag to get around, which I liked a lot. The course makes you think quite a bit - balancing risk/reward on many holes. The course is well-maintained but it gets A LOT of play, and the greens show it in many places (only negative). Pace of play was surprisingly quick for walking on a summer Sunday (~3 hr 45 min). I'll be back for sure!

Mt. Prospect Golf Course
Mt. Prospect Golf Course is the best golf course around in the Chicago area....very challenging, especially the greens. It is well maintained by great workers and the golf course management and friendly staff in the pro shop make this course my #1 golf course to golf!

The greens on the course need work most were patchy

Great course!
First, the greens are fast, and the slopes are challenging enough that if you're not playing smart, you may always be 3-putting many of the holes. Fairways are pretty decent, and it looks as though for the most part, golfers (and maintenance workers) take care of the course. You're given sand to fill your divots on the course, and although we did see some guys play from the sand and NOT rake (seriously, what the heck?), for the most part, every hole was pretty upkept.
If you can't play at a good pace, the rangers / marshals will come around and tell you to play quicker or that you're at a good speed. I think you'll find that if you're a slow-paced player, it's better to find another course to play or play a scramble with however many people you have.
Cart girls are super-friendly, but the drinks are a BIT expensive. On the whole, however, this is one of my more favorite "casual" places to play.

Short but challenging.
Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape.
Greens rolled true, but if you’re not on the correct tier you’re in trouble.

Special Treat
Wanted to arrange a course to coordinate with my son who was driving back from Wisconsin which was convenient for both of us. I had heard about how pleasant a track Mt Prospect was so I chose it. I was pleasantly surprised. We had great weather which added to the enjoyment of the day. The difficulty was playing the course for the first time and not knowing where to aim. I found a few unexpected traps in what I thought were good shots. Oh well, we had a great time on a great course. Great pace of play too, enjoy.

Greens
Played this course at least once a year since the renovation. My expectations for the green surfaces was fast and firm. They were both. The problem was so few ball marks being repaired. Some from that day but looks like a daily issue. I fixed at least 3 on every green. Including my own when I was fortunate enough to hit in regulation.
I play all over the Chicagoland area at courses of varying conditions and costs. Your greens were amongst the firmest and quickest. But also the least taken care of by the golfers.
I was impressed with how many young kids were taking advantage of the practice and driving range.
